Former President Donald Trump held a rally in Las Vegas over the weekend, where he spoke on Joe Biden, the January 6 Capitol riots, and excessive heat in Nevada.
After hearing his Las Vegas rally, author Stephen King took to social media, labeling Donald Trump as a "senile uncle."
Donald Trump Holds Rally In Las Vegas
A video of Donald Trump talking about shark attacks while discussing Biden's environmental agenda related to electric vehicles is going viral.
"It must be because of M.I.T., my relationship with M.I.T., very smart, he goes—I say, 'What would happen if the boat sank from its weight, and you have this tremendously powerful battery, and the battery is now underwater and there's a shark that's approximately 10 yards over there,'" Trump said at the Las Vegas rally over the weekend.
Donald Trump Tells A Shark Attack Story
The former President proceeded to tell a shark attack story, but quickly derailed his speech. "By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately, did you notice that? A lot of shar—I watched some guys justifying it today. 'Well, they weren't really that angry. They bit off the young lady's leg because of the fact that they were not hungry but they misunderstood who she was,'" he said.
But it doesn't end there... The former President of the United States asked the crowd, "Do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking, do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted, or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?"
"I'll take electrocution every single time. I'm not getting near the shark," he followed up.

After hearing Donald Trump's rally speech, Stephen King, known for his books "It," "Pet Semetary," and "Misery," took to social media to slam the former President.
"This is like listening to your senile uncle at the dinner table after he has that third drink," King wrote.
It seems many others agreed with the author, as one X user replied, "If you were sitting next to a guy on a train who was talking like this, you would get up and move your seat."
"Drunk Uncle that watched Jaws last night," another said.
Social Media Users Slam The Former President
After hearing Donald Trump's rally in Las Vegas, social media users couldn't help but mock the former President of the United States.
"This is what you get when you have TV game-show hosts as politicians ... he runs his campaign like a TV game show," one user claimed. "Just please no USA.. not again please."
"This is just way, way out there," another said.
A third wrote, "I was thinking 5th drink, but I’ll take 3 drinks (immediately before listening to DJT) [I threw in a plot twist because it’s SK after all.]"
"There's a big difference," one X user responded to Stephen King. "When my senile uncle wakes up in the morning, he's still my senile uncle. When Trump wakes up in the morning, he's a candidate for President."
Former President Becomes Convicted Criminal
Donald Trump, the former President, was recently convicted on all 34 felony charges for falsifying business records connected to a 2016 payment of hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
His conviction marks a historic first for a U.S. president. However, despite now being a convicted criminal, he still has eligibility to run for President.
"This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent," the former President of the United States told the press shortly after the verdict was read. "And I think it’s just a disgrace, and we’ll keep fighting and fighting till the end and we’ll win because our country has gone to hell."
The 77-year-old added, "We don’t have the same country anymore. We have a divided mess. We’re a nation in decline, serious decline, millions and millions of people pouring into our country right now from prisons and from mental institutions, terrorists, and they’re taking over our country."
Trump's sentencing has been scheduled for July 11, 2024.
