The election race between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump is heating up, as both individuals continue to hold campaign rallies nationwide.

Recently, the former President of the United States held a rally in Las Vegas, where he bashed Biden and advocated why he should become the 47th President.

During the Las Vegas rally, former President Donald Trump, 77, also told the crowd that MAGA supporters would choose "suicide over Biden."

Former President Donald Trump held a rally in Las Vegas on June 9, where he seemingly told the crowd all he cares about is votes.

"I don't want anybody going on me," he said, according to People Magazine. "We need every voter. I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care."

He later claimed that the media would find a way to twist his words.

During his Las Vegas rally, Donald Trump also claimed that die-hard MAGA supporters would choose "suicide before Biden."

“Wouldn’t it be incredible—he’s gone to 250—if he voted for Biden?” he said, according to a clip from the rally. “He’s going to vote for Biden? I don’t think so. It would be suicide before Biden, right?”

Researcher Noelle Cook couldn't believe what she had heard. “In Las Vegas, Trump points to a follower in the audience that he calls ‘front row Joe’ and then tells the crowd ‘that it would be suicide before Biden’ got Joe's vote,” Cook posted on X. “He gets more dangerous by the day.”

In addition to Biden, Donald Trump also spoke about the January 6 Capitol riots.

“They were really, more than anything else, they are victims of what happened. All they were doing [was] protesting a rigged election. That’s what they were doing. And then the police say, go in, go in, go in, go in,” the former President said. “What a setup that was. A horrible, horrible thing.”

According to USA Today, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are neck-and-neck among voters nationwide. However, earlier this month, The Blast reported that the 77-year-old suffered a significant decline in the polls 48 hours after receiving a guilty verdict.

After the jury found Trump guilty on 34 counts in the hush-money New York trial, he became the first U.S. ex-president to be convicted of a felony crime.

"We are a nation in decline, serious decline of people pouring into our country right now. From prisons and from mental institutions. Terrorists, and they're taking over our country," Donald Trump said outside the courthouse moments after the jury read the historical verdict.

"We have a country that's in big trouble, but this was a rigged decision right from day one. With a conflicted judge who should have never been allowed to try this case never. And we will fight for our constitution. This is more from over. Thank you very much," Trump added.

Shortly after Donald Trump was found guilty, a spokesperson for President Joe Biden released a statement.

"In New York today, we saw that no one is above the law," Biden-Harris Communications Director Michael Tyler said. "Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain."

"But today's verdict does not change the fact that the American people face a simple reality. There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box. Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for President," the statement added.

Trump's sentencing has been scheduled for July 11, 2024.
