Sabrina Carpenter Debuts Espresso Ice Cream After Chart-Topping Single

She's working late, 'cause she's launching a new ice cream line!

Sabrina Carpenter, 25, is one of today's biggest pop stars, with hits like "Feather," Nonsense," and her latest sensation, "Espresso."

Following the success of "Espresso," Sabrina Carpenter has announced a new ice cream flavor based on the chart-topping hit.

Shortly after debuting "Espresso" at Coachella, Sabrina Carpenter's song topped the U.S. and U.K. charts. In fact, the hit spent the entire month of May at the top of the U.K. Singles Chart.

The song also gained 103.2 million streams in a little over a month, per Billboard.

“Now he’s thinkin’ about me every night / Is it that sweet? I guess so / Say you can’t sleep, baby, I know / That’s that me, espresso / Move it up, down, left, right, oh / Switch it up like Nintendo,” she sings in the chorus.

Following the success of the hit song, Carpenter has decided to use it as a marketing tool, announcing a new ice cream line—and the flavor is, of course, espresso.

Isn't that sweet? Sabrina Carpenter took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to make the big announcement.

"Available starting JUNE 28th!!!!!" she wrote over a video of her holding the ice cream container, which features a photo from the single's cover art.

She also posted a photo of the ice cream with the lid off, revealing the chocolate-swirled ice cream. "It is that sweet," she wrote, referencing the lyrics to the hit song.

The artist is collaborating with Van Leeuwen for the new ice cream.

After hearing the news, fans couldn't contain their excitement. "As if Sabrina Carpenter wasn’t already living in our heads rent-free, we now have an Espresso flavored ice cream to look forward to from the singer," one X user wrote on the social media platform, formerly known as Twitter.

"I’m ready for you, limited edition Sabrina Carpenter ice cream," another said.

"Sabrina Carpenter ice cream. What a time to be alive," one of her fans expressed after hearing the news.

The song became an instant hit, but what is it about? Carpenter explains, “The song is kind of about seeing femininity as your superpower and embracing the confidence of being that b-tch."

“Since the day I heard the song, I saw a beach atmosphere—and more specifically, this kind of old school [and] modern environment,” she told Vogue. “[I wanted to capture] the playfulness that I like to use throughout all of my videos. I also just wanted a pool car, to be frank.”

Sabrina Carpenter recently opened up about writing "Espresso."

"There was something really exciting about the fact that there was so much personality throughout the entire song, because those are the ones that are really, really fun to sing live with a crowd,” she told Apple Music. “Those are the ones that people, I think, when they don’t know my music or who I am or anything, they can just tune in to a single song and kind of leave with a better idea of my sense of humor.”

She added, “This was one of those times in my life where I just thought I was the sh-t in the moment. And I think you don’t always feel that way, so you kind of have to capture those moments that you do because that’s how you find those little [gems]."

“For me, equating it to caffeine and that addiction was really fun, and I definitely have a caffeine addiction as it is. So it really ends up being a full circle for me," the pop singer concluded.
