Drew Barrymore Stuns In Swimwear After Saying 'I Don't Have A Bikini Body'

Drew Barrymore has stated that she doesn't "have a bikini body," but beach photos taken during her 2015 Hawaii travels prove otherwise. Enjoying a tropical vacation that year, the 49-year-old actress and producer stunned in a skimpy bikini as she splashed about shallow waters, and the photos are still live. Aged 40 as she revealed to InStyle Australia that she doesn't even own a bikini, Drew confirmed: "I am who I am" as she went down the self-acceptance route, even stating that she doesn't own a one-piece bathing suit. Fans on X have been reposting the snaps from Drew's Hawaii travels, ones presumably taken when she did have the odd swimsuit in her wardrobe.

Flashing her toned tummy and shapely waistline, The Drew Barrymore Show host went halterneck style and with gold hoop cut-outs at the waist highlighting her hips — 100% makeup-free, the Hollywood star also stunned as she wore her hair down and in slight waves.

Drew Barrymore had made 2020 headlines for sharing side-by-side photos of her weight loss after dropping 20 pounds. That said, five years prior, the actress almost seemed to be giving in when it came to having what she called a "bikini body."

“I am who I am and I just don’t have a bikini body,” she told InStyle. “I don’t even have a one-piece body anymore! But I am loving the long rash guard, board-shorts look.” Drew continued: “I’ve beaten myself up about not being a certain thing. If someone says, ‘Let’s go to the beach today,’ my first thought is, ‘F––, what am I going to wear?’"

Recalling a moment when she compared herself to another Hollywood face, Drew even stated: "I remember when Amy Schumer was on Ellen, she called her midsection a ‘lava lamp.’ I thought, That was perfect! That’s what I’ve been trying to say. But then I saw her in Trainwreck, and she looked so good in a tiny bra and short skirt. I was like, ‘No, you don’t have a lava lamp.’”

Drew does, however, practice self-love, something she made clear in a 2020 social media share. While she did admit that her weight "goes up and down," the Santa Clarita Diet star said that she'd "made two kids" and that they were the most important thing on earth to her.
