Woodstock 50 just can't catch a break. The festival was originally supposed to be in Watkins Glen, New York -- near the site of the original festival -- but organizers lost that spot due to permitting issues.

The festival then decided to move to another state altogether. It is now slated for the Merriweather Post Pavilion near the beautiful city of Baltimore, Maryland.

Location changes haven't been the only problem. The bigger concern is headlining artists dropping like flies.

First, Jay-Z pulled out of the festival. Next the Dead & Co. and John Fogerty said no thanks. Then on Tuesday night it was confirmed that the Raconteurs, the Lumineers and original Woodstock 1969 performers John Sebastian and Country Joe McDonald are all pulling out.

It got even worse on Wednesday, however, when Variety reported that Miley Cyrus was also exiting the festival.

After all of this turmoil, the festival organizers say Woodstock 50 will go on, but is now likely to be a one-day event.

Who will actually end up performing at the tentatively scheduled August 16th event is unclear. The remaining acts that have not pulled out include Imagine Dragons and the Killers along with the Zombies.
