Jennifer Aniston cannot think about "Friends" without getting emotional.

The actress, who rose to fame alongside late actor Matthew Perry on the 90s sitcom, recently burst into tears while discussing the show's 30th anniversary. However, she claimed her emotions didn't come from a painful place but a happy one.

Jennifer Aniston is one of the five surviving "Friends" from the series, which revolved around the lives of six pals in Manhattan, New York City.

Jennifer Aniston & Quinta Brunson Share An Emotional Moment About 'Friends'

During an episode of Variety's "Actors on Actors" series, Aniston was interviewed by "Abbott Elementary" star Quinta Brunson. A clip of their emotional moment was shared on the Magazine's X page, capturing the former's tearful reaction to a question.

Someone offscreen prompted Brunson to ask Aniston what it was like to watch "Friends" now. The question seemingly got the actress thinking about the three decades that have passed and the recent death of her former co-star, Perry.

Overcome with emotions, Aniston breaks down in tears, saying: "Oh God, don't make me cry." Her reaction got an empathetic response from Brunson, who echoed:

"I won't. We won't make each other cry. Well, you're already crying. Do you want a minute? We don't have to talk about —"

Aniston Plays Off Her Emotional Reaction With Humor

After regaining control, Aniston turned the tearful moment into a hilarious one, with Brunson happily going along with her antics.

"So, Jen, Friends is turning 30," the latter continued the conversation, to which the sitcom's star joked, "And I'm turning 30…This is so — what a coincidence!"

Brunson agreed it was "wild" and "crazy" that Aniston was the same age as the beloved show before taking it a step further by saying: "When you were a baby on that show, you were so advanced. Your fine motor skills were insane."

"Wasn't I? I was an old soul," Aniston chimed in. Jokes aside, Brunson reflected on watching "Friends" as a child, revealing it premiered when she was five. She also declared it "continues to be one of the best shows on television."

Aniston Recalled Her Last Conversation With Matthew Perry

Last December, The Blast reported that Aniston had opened up about her last conversation with Perry. She revealed they had been texting hours before he tragically drowned in a hot tub on October 28.

In her first interview since his passing, the 55-year-old refuted speculations that her late pal had been struggling with addiction in his final days. Aniston stressed that Perry had been in a good place, saying:

"He was happy. He was healthy. He had quit smoking. He was getting in shape. He was happy — that's all I know. I was literally texting with him that morning, funny Matty."

"He was not in pain. He wasn't struggling. He was happy," Aniston declared, stressing that she wanted people to know he wasn't struggling with addiction but focused on being healthy.
