'Tremors' Actress Is Unrecognizable After Las Vegas Arrest

One of the actresses in the 1990's cult classic, "Tremors," was arrested in Las Vegas on multiple felony charges.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Finn Carter was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and 14 counts of possessing a credit card without the cardholder's consent.

59-year-old Carter played graduate student, Rhonda LeBeck, alongside Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward in the monster comedy film.

"Tremors" went on to be so succesful that they released 4 direct-to-video sequels in the franchise. It was the most rented movie in 1990 -- when people still rented VHS from Blockbuster.

59-year-old Carter, real name Elizabeth Fearn Carter, appeared in court on Tuesday after her arrest and told officials she had been living in Las Vegas for over a year. She was released from custody as prosecutors prepare formal charges.

Carter has changed her look over the years from her "Tremors" days, and is now sporting a chopped blonde hairdo.

The actress got her start in theatre before getting her big breakout role on "Tremors," which earned her a nomination for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress.

After "Tremors," she earned a recurring role in the ABC series, "China Beach," as nurse Linda Matlock Lanier.

She also appeared in Rob Reiner's 1996 drama, "Ghosts of Mississippi."

Carter last appeared in the 2005 independent film, "Halfway Decent, " which she co-starred alongside "Ghostbusters" star Ernie Hudson.

It's unclear what Carter has been up to these days.
