Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck No Longer Have 'The Look Of Love,' Body Language Expert Claims

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's body language during their public outings has been analyzed amid rumors that their marriage is on the verge of falling apart.

A new report suggests that the couple is no longer happy or showing genuine intimacy towards each other and has been leaving separately.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's divorce rumors began spreading after they were not photographed in public together for over seven weeks.

In 2022, Lopez and Affleck surprised fans worldwide by getting married, following an initial engagement split years ago.

While many might have thought the duo's marriage would go the extra mile, rumors have swirled about Affleck and Lopez heading for divorce in recent months.

Contrary to what one might expect if the rumors were true, the couple has been spotted numerous times recently in public, sharing gestures that might hint all is well in their romance.

However, an expert on body language, Judi James, told the Daily Mail that the duo are just talking in "body language riddles" and that their "most recent appearances together have thrown up a lack of the kind of intimacy, passion, or loving signals that would reassure the fans."

According to James, the couple's gestures towards each other during those moments are more like "polite, social rituals that might define a friendship or family bond."

A few days ago, the couple was spotted sharing an awkward kiss while meeting up outside a basketball game where Affleck's son, Samuel, was playing. Affleck shares the 12-year-old and two other children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

Upon seeing his wife, Affleck opted to pat her on the back rather than offer an embrace. Additionally, the couple did not share a kiss on the lips; instead, they exchanged a polite air kiss.

James explained that the gestures the duo shared mirrored those typically exchanged by individuals who are mere acquaintances or not in a romantic relationship.

The expert said about Affleck, "His raised and rounded cheeks suggest he is happy to greet his wife, but rather than any compensatory signals, the kiss is super-speedy rather than lingering as he turns his head quickly and pats her back to break before walking off flapping one hand at the press."

James also spoke about the couple's body language at Affleck's daughter Violet's graduation ceremony in Los Angeles.

She claimed that despite the couple holding hands "in a traditionally intimate gesture of affection and togetherness," their facial expressions showed that something was amiss.

According to her, the duo did not have a "look of love" in their eyes when they looked at each other but instead chose to share only "frosty" looks.

The body language expert said, "A couple in love will do 'the look of love' when they gaze at each other. It involves a dramatic softening of the muscles of the face and a warm eye-smile."

She added, "But here it looks as though Ben and Jennifer's face remain switched onto 'frosty,' despite their eye contact."

Last month, multiple sources told FoxNews that the couple was no longer living together amid their marital issues.

"He's living separately from her right now," a source said about Affleck.

It is also understood that Lopez stayed back in the couple's expensive home in Beverly Hills while the male actor is lodged in one of their other properties.

According to another source, there is no hope that their issues will be resolved, and it is all a matter of time before their separation becomes official.

"It's over; they're headed for a divorce, and for once [Ben's] not to blame. He's focusing on his work and kids now," the insider informed In Touch.

Despite the subtle separation, the duo is reportedly still committed to their responsibilities to their blended family, although it has been difficult due to the strain on their relationship.

"At first, it was a whirlwind of love, and now that real life is setting in, it's hard," a source shared with Fox News.

The source added, "They are both involved in each other's kids' lives and consider themselves one big family unit, so it's been hard for everyone."
