Jason Momoa doesn’t turn 40 until Aug. 1, but his friends were already ahead of the game, and planned a surprise birthday party for the Aquaman actor that was truly epic.
The party was Saturday at what looks like a hotel suite. His friends got him roped in by having him think he was just going out for some sushi.
Actress Emilia Clarke was also at the party, and shared her birthday wish for Momoa on her Instagram.
The party had a Guinness bar and a whiskey-and-Guinness-filled cake that Momoa hungrily dove into, without waiting for a plate or fork or anything.
The cake featured a smaller version of Momoa — and he made a point of biting his own head off.
Momoa got the chance to FaceTime with his wife, Lisa Bonet, and his children Lola and Nakoa-Wolf. The group at the party shared plenty of F-bombs and good times.
