According to TMZ, Sweeney is set to spend about $20 million on a new home in South Florida and will spend most of the coming days there.

The actress is understood to be in Florida for a housewarming party and was spotted grabbing a cup of java at a local coffee shop over Memorial Day weekend. She looked chic in what appears to be a matching denim blouse and cap as she strolled around in her custom blue Fiat 500.

Her new property, which is over 7000 square feet and has an oceanfront view, features state-of-the-art amenities like a heated and chilled infinity pool with a swim-up bar complete with underwater barstools, a chef's kitchen, wine room, an elevator, a home gym, a game room, and a boat launch.

Sweeney's home purchase comes as she prepares to play Boxer Christy Martin in a new biopic, which will see her train to fit into the role. She has already shared her readiness to star as the famous female boxer, telling Deadline that she loves to "challenge" herself for what she expects to be a "physically and emotionally" demanding role.

"I grappled and did kickboxing from 12-19 years old. I've been itching to get back into the ring, train, and transform my body. Christy's story isn't a light one, it's physically and emotionally demanding, and there's a lot of weight to carry. But I love challenging myself," Sweeney said.

Martin went on to praise the "White Lotus" actress' talent before diving into what the script for the film meant to her.

"I think she is young, hot, talented, and about to make a movie that in 20+ years, fathers will watch with their daughters to make them aware of domestic violence," she said.

While speaking to TMZ  about her hopes for the script, Martin shared that it's not just about her boxing journey.

She added, "I want this movie to bring awareness to domestic violence, the challenge of sexuality, and overall underdog story. I am a coal miner's daughter from a small town in southern West Virginia that made an impact in a sport that wasn't taken seriously -- women's boxing."

Martin also disclosed that a potential cameo from her in the film is not far-fetched, just as a nod to her fans.

Hollywood producer Carol Baum recently gave a scathing criticism of Sweeney's acting skills and her looks after reportedly seeing her new romcom, "Anyone But You."

Baum declared that the budding actress is "not pretty" and "can't act" and that the film, which features Glen Powell, is "unwatchable."

The Hollywood big-wig's comments caused an uproar on social media and even prompted Sweeney herself to respond to the harsh remarks through her reps.

Baum's remark drew a response from Sweeney's rep via a statement shared with Variety.

"How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman," the statement read. "If that's what she's learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that's shameful. To unjustly disparage a fellow female producer speaks volumes about Ms. Baum's character."

According to TMZ, the top producer shared her regrets over her remarks, wishing "she never would've made her original comments."
