Kate Upton In Plunging Bikini Told Husband Lucked Out

Kate Upton went viral the moment her 2024 return to Sports Illustrated Swim was announced last month. In mid-May, the 31-year-old model joined the list of iconic SI Swim faces invited to feature as part of the magazine's 60th anniversary, and it was bikini game strong as Kate updated her Instagram to share her cover. Stunning in a plunging bikini as she flaunted her curves, the mom of one was showered with love as she reminded fans she's still got it, and one of her followers seemed to think that husband Justin Verlander has lucked out. Kate has been married to the baseball pitcher since 2017.

Injecting lingerie accents into her swimwear bia structured bust cups and underwire, Kate showed off her mole as she posed with parted, pink-stained lips, completing her look with her blonde locks worn down.

In a caption marking her return to the magazine, Kate wrote: "I’m so honored to be on the cover for @si_swimsuit’s 60th anniversary. SI has been a huge part of my career so it felt really special to be back with @yutsai88 and @mj_day, alongside the other amazing women included on the cover."

Quick to reply was trainer Ben Bruno, who said: "Let's goooo!"

Fans, who called Kate Upton "stunning" and "gorgeous," also referenced former MLB star husband Justin. Opting out of naming him as they instead shared a gif of him smiling and looking pleased with himself, one fan gave a nod to Kate's marriage using only the visual. In 2018, Kate and Justin welcomed daughter Genevieve.

Kate Upton is always in fighting shape, but she put in a little extra effort as she prepared for her big SI Swim return. In May, trainer Ben posted to Instagram to reveal her pre-shoot training regimen, writing: "She likes to lift heavy weights (hates anything over 6 reps haha) and that’s what we do most of the time, but we also do some cardio 2-3 times a week, either after strength workouts or on separate days."

Adding that Upton doesn't "deprive" herself of the foods she loves, he continued: "She eats protein at every meal and also eats plenty of fruits, vegetables, and healthy carbs (the heaviest carb meals are usually after strength workouts)." Kate Upton has a reported net worth of $20 million.
