Anna Kendrick Practices Self-Love In Minidress And 'Stripper Heels'

Anna Kendrick drove fans wild with her "stripper heels" selfie in December 2022, largely on account of the humor in her caption. Snapping a photo as she crouched down in front of a mirror and posted the photo to Instagram, the Pitch Perfect actress showed off her petite frame in a massive pair of platform heels, something that wove right into her caption. Looking stylish and a little preppy in a minidress worn over a skintight turtleneck, Anna asked herself if it was "wrong" to "love" herself in "stripper heels," and her fans couldn't get enough. The post has earned the 38-year-old over 700,000 likes.

Contrasting her ivory dress with a dark blue top, the Hollywood star flashed her toned legs, immediately drawing the eye to the pair of statement, black leather platforms she was wearing. Braving a sky-high heel, Anna dropped a second selfie in the same pose, this time gazing softly into her phone.

Wearing her hair a little tied back and leaving the rest in loose waves around her shoulders, Anna Kendrick kept her makeup low-key, making the whole thing about those shoes. "I mean, is it wrong to love yourself while wearing stripper heels?? Is it a crime???" she wrote in a caption.

"Never with you Anna," one fan replied. "Certainly not," another user agreed. "No keep wearing them gorgeous," a third said.

The humor was all over Anna's March 2021 post, one seeing her discussing her quarantine, but in a way that made fans laugh. Posing in a layer-effect minidress and a slightly smaller pair of platforms, the Love Life star flaunted her legs as she stood confidently, writing: "I’m pleased to announce that during quarantine I grew ten inches and am now officially A Tall™️. (It’s not the camera angle or the shoes. I will not be taking questions.) Sincerely, A Tall."

Anna may kid around on IG, but she does offer a few more clues in interviews. She's even revealed her varied workout routine, plus the mindset behind it.

"I’ve been taking Pure Barre, and I live in a part of L.A. where I can take a hike straight out my front door. If I’m on set and there’s no other option, I get on a treadmill, but that’s my most hated thing. I used to exercise an hour every day — no excuses," Anna told LA Times. She added that she lives in "absolutes." With a reported net worth of $20 million, it looks like Anna Kendrick can hit up all the workout classes in L.A.
