Breaking her silence following Trump’s conviction, Daniels called for the ex-president to be jailed immediately.

“I think he should be sentenced to jail and some community service working for the less fortunate or being the volunteer punching bag at a women's shelter," she told The Mirror.

Daniels played a crucial role in bringing down Trump by revealing a $130,000 payment made by his then-lawyer, Michael Cohen, to keep her quiet about an alleged affair with the ex-president at a golf tournament years ago.

After the payment, Trump and his attorney falsified business records to cover up the payment, and he now faces up to four years in prison when sentenced on July 11.

However, despite Trump's conviction on 34 felony counts, Daniels noted that she continues to face death threats from his supporters.

She shared that she remains cautious of his supporters after exposing one of the world's most powerful figures, noting: "It's not over for me. It's never going to be over for me. Trump may be guilty, but I still have to live with the legacy.”

The former adult film actress also admitted that facing the jurors in court was intimidating, but she felt a sense of relief when they believed her and found Trump guilty on all charges.

Their relationship culminated in an alleged sexual encounter in Trump's hotel suite, and during the high-profile trial, Daniels provided detailed accounts of the incident, describing the room’s furniture, Trump's toiletry kit, and even demonstrating sexual positions for the jury.

According to the Daily Mail, in her testimony, Daniels recounted how Trump compared her to his daughter, Ivanka, and told her that he and his wife, Melania Trump, do not sleep in the same room. She also stated that although Trump did not act threateningly toward her, she blacked out during the encounter.

The 45-year-old testified that initially, no one believed her, but in 2011, she shared her story with In Touch Weekly for $15,000. However, the article was never published after Trump's former attorney, Cohen, threatened to sue the publication.

After Trump won the 2016 election by narrowly defeating Hillary Clinton, a video surfaced of the billionaire mogul bragging about grabbing women by the genitals without their consent. In an effort to prevent further negative press, Trump's team made another attempt to silence Daniels.

During the high-profile hush money trial, Trump was found guilty on all 34 charges of falsifying business records to conceal payments he made to Daniels. The former president now faces up to four years in jail when sentenced on July 11.

Following the conviction, Trump called the New York criminal trial "rigged" and "a disgrace."

Outside the courtroom, he criticized the judge, the Manhattan District Attorney, and the Biden administration, reiterating his claims of innocence and alleging the trial was biased.

"We have a country that's in big trouble, but this was a rigged decision right from day one, with a conflicted judge who should have never been allowed to try this case," he said, as reported by The Blast.

The convicted ex-president asserted that the "real verdict" would come in November during the presidential election.

"We’ll keep fighting till the end and we’ll win because our country has gone to hell. We don’t have the same country anymore," Trump stated. "We have a divided mess. We're a nation in serious decline, with millions of people pouring into our country right now, from prisons and from mental institutions terrorists, and they're taking over our country."
