You've probably never seen John Travolta play a celebrity stalker, but you're not likely to forget it anytime soon. The trailer for The Fanatic, directed by Fred Durst, is out now, and is altogether creepy.

Like many horror film trailers, things start out innocently enough. Travolta plays Moose, a fan of celebrity Hunter Dunbar, played by Devon Sawa.

Moose has a weird gait, too, and an unusual short haircut, which adds to his creepiness.

But Moose is having a tough time getting close to Hunter. There's a quick scene where Moose gets upset because he can't get his autograph. Then he's seen asking a friend about how to find celebrity homes. The friend warns him about not turning into a celebrity stalker, and then things get really dark.

Somehow Moose gets into Hunter's home. Hunter is later seen tied up in his bed. There's cans of gasoline involved, a hockey mask, and of course large, sharp knives.
