The terrifying new Netflix series "Typewriter" is spelling trouble for people's sleeping habits.
The horror drama series, set in Goa, India, is about a haunted house and a group of kids who are trying to catch ghosts.
That doesn't sound all that scary, except this house and this series is apparently freaking viewers out.
“Finished watching #typewriter (Netflix) season 1 ... all 5 episodes at a one go ! Thank you director #sujoygosh for a thrilling horrific experience and I hate you for destroying my sleep !!,” wrote one viewer.
“[Sujoy] this is called being true to the genre," said another viewer.
Stories of viewers being this frightened from a Netflix show haven't emerged since "The Haunting Of Hill House" when people reported sleep loss and anxiety.
#typewriter was so good that I binge watched the entire series in one go..!
I can almost say it’s a mini Indian version of Stranger things and I mean that as a compliment.🙌🏻

The show is reminding some of that hugely popular Netflix series "Stranger Things."
@sudhirkothari03 says it "gives vibes of Stranger Things with concept of kids solving a big supernatural mystery while adults watch. A well paced thriller by @sujoy_g doing a decent job. Its worth watching for kids specially."

Watch the trailer here -- the last scene may give you a fright.
People are dying left and right, and there's something wrong with that typewriter.
Don't fall asleep.
