Emilia Clarke is back in the news as she enjoys a low-key staycation in a British seaside town. The Game of Thrones actress, 37, recently shared photos from the Southern U.K. town of Deal, choosing a less-crowded destination than the nearby popular Margate and uploading snaps from her break to her Instagram. With one photo showing the TV star making her way through a quaint side street in only a swimsuit and a towel, it looks like she's been making the most of the seafront location. Fans have left over 1.6 million likes.

Opening her gallery with a fresh-faced smile as she took a selfie from a greenery-filled area, Emilia gave a nod to her love of the outdoors as she wore a daisy in her hair. Outfitted in a white top and simple cream cardigan, the Clinique ambassador showed off her flawless skin as she kept low-key, with the next photo showing her and a female friend walking through a narrow sunny street.

Fans got typical British architecture, plus Emilia turning her head around just as the lens snapped her. Appearing pretty surprised that she was being photographed, the vibe was very much "oops" as Emilia rocked a strappy white swimsuit, also covering her torso and upper legs with her beach towel.

The Northern France destination, also adored by singer Christina Milian, boasts five-star hotels, designer stores, and beaches, and Emilia made sure to shout it out as she wrote: "Oh la la Deauville! Merci!"
