Gypsy Rose Blanchard shared a video showing off her new boyfriend, Ken Urker, but social media users can't help but bash the ex-convict.
As The Blast reported, Gypsy spent the last eight and a half years in prison for her involvement in her mother's murder. After getting out on parole, the world has been divided on whether to support her as she is considered to be a victim of Munchausen By Proxy.
While a majority are rooting for the 32-year-old, hoping she has a comeback, others continue to heckle Gypsy, calling her a "murderer" and a "killer."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Conspires To Kill Her Mother
Gypsy's mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, forced her to undergo numerous medical procedures and surgeries, convincing everyone, including doctors, that Gypsy suffered from a range of health issues such as leukemia and muscular dystrophy.
It was later revealed that Gypsy was not as sick as her mother had made it seem, and desperate to escape Dee Dee's control, she conspired to murder her with the assistance of her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, whom she had met online.
She pled guilty and was sentenced to ten years in prison. In December 2023, she was released on parole.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Attacked Online For Her Past
Weeks after announcing her separation from Ryan Anderson, the 32-year-old confirmed she was back together with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, whom she dated while serving her prison sentence.
Now that the two went public, Gypsy has been flaunting her relationship on social media, but her latest video is gaining mixed reactions from TikTok users.
"True love," she captioned a photo of Ken using Luke Combs's hit single, 'Forever After All.'
"You guys are too cute together! Keep on shining, Gypsy Rose," one user commented. "From one Louisianian to another...you absolutely deserve TRUE love! I'm so happy you found it!" another said.
"So happy for you guys," a third expressed.
TikTokers Claim Ken Urker Is Gypsy Rose Blanchard's 'Next Victim'
Others, however, slammed Gypsy and her new relationship, calling Ken her "next victim."
"Is this your next victim?" one user wrote as another advised Ken to "sleep with one eye open."
Another expressed, "What’s up, Ken?? Nice to see you alive!!" Gypsy was unhappy about that comment as she responded, "What’s wrong with you?"
One user commented on the song choice made by Gypsy. "That’s the same song you posted for you and Ryan? I’m happy for you, but come on, pick something that isn’t the same?"
"Didn't you play the same song for Ryan back on March the 3. Girl, stop it. You're wild."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Reflects On Her Relationship With Ken Urker
After confirming that she and Ken were back together, she told PEOPLE Magazine she was in love.
"Ken and I reconnected as friends. It wasn't like, jump out of a marriage and then let me meet up with you, and boom, we're in a relationship," she said. "We had kept a friendship for the longest time. He was in a relationship. I was with Ryan, and so we were living different lives with respect to our partners, a 'wish you the best' type of thing."
"It wasn't until I knew that my marriage was over that I was like, 'I would like to see you and let's hang out because we never got to hang out before when I was in prison'," she added.
While she was going through her separation from Ryan, she said "Ken was that support for me when going through this emotional hardship of crying and then being okay and then crying. Then I let myself open up to the feelings that I've always had for Ken. Those feelings just don't die."
"I would say that Ken is my first love because that's when I honestly felt like a mature love. It wasn't based off of a fantasy," she added. "It was actually based on a connection that two people have for each other."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Ken Urker's Relationship To Be Highlighted In Upcoming Lifetime Docuseries
Gypsy confirmed that her relationship with Ken and her marriage to Ryan will both be highlighted in the upcoming Lifetime docuseries, 'Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.'
"I'm really grateful to [Ken] for being so open to being interviewed," she told the outlet regarding Ken's decision to participate in the project. "I was like, 'I want you to be a part of my life, but it's up to you if you're comfortable being on camera.' And he's like, 'I'll do it for you.'"
She has faced backlash from many since being released from prison, but she hopes the docuseries will help people understand her life and her side of the story.
"I think people are going to understand aspects of my side, they're going to understand aspects of Ryan's side, and I think that they will come out of it saying, 'Okay, I understand that sometimes it just happens this way. That's life,'" she said.
