Stormy Daniels has cried out for her safety, disclosing that she has been receiving "death threats" as the Donald Trump hush money trial winds down.
In a recent interview, Daniels also weighed in on her alleged affair with the former president, claiming that Trump would call her once a week to "profess his love and beg to see me again."
Stormy Daniels Reveals She Is Receiving More 'Death Threats' Amid Donald Trump's Trial
The former adult film star made the worrying call about her safety in a new TV documentary, "Stormy," revealing that the threats and abuse she's been receiving from Trump supporters have since intensified.
Trump is standing trial for falsifying financial records to cover up a $130k payment he made to her to keep dirty information about him from coming out ahead of the 2016 elections.
According to Daniels, the type of threats she has been getting since Trump's trial began has now escalated.
"Back in 2018, there was stuff like 'liar,' 'slut,' 'gold digger.' This time around, it's different. It is direct threats. It is 'I'm going to come to your house to slit your throat,'" Daniels said in the documentary, per The Mirror.
The Adult Film Star Compares MAGA Fans To 'Suicide Bombers'
It turns out that Daniels's detractors are not shy to make their vile intentions known, with the former porn star expressing surprise about how bold they are.
While speaking from her home in Texas, Daniels noted that "they're not even using bot accounts" to threaten her; "they're using their real accounts."
"I compare them to suicide bombers," she continued. "They legitimately think that what they're doing is right. Those people who see me as a villain. It just makes me scratch my head and really question how they would want their daughters treated, or their sisters, or their mother."
She also read out some examples of the unpleasant messages she'd received from her critics.
One stated, "Even if you'd have been raped, you should have kept your mouth quiet for the greater good," as another text read, "You're nothing but a fat hillbilly, Trump would never touch you, stop lying, before I'm forced to shut you up myself."
She Remains Defiant, Shares Lessons Learned
Daniels, born Stephanie Clifford, remains resolute in her legal battle against the billionaire politician and his associates.
Elsewhere in the documentary, "Stormy," she shared the valuable lessons she has learned from the high-profile case since it first went public, noting that she has "more knowledge" now than in 2018.
"The shock of it's not the same. I'm desensitized to some of it. But they've also become more violent with me," she said. "I'm more prepared with my legal knowledge, but I'm also tired. Like my soul is so tired."
Daniels then explained that she had to sign the NDA given to her because she was concerned about her family's safety if she didn't.
She also shared that she "won't give up as I'm telling the truth," adding that she doesn't "know if that matters anymore."
PETA Asked Stormy Daniels To Star In A New Ad That Takes A Jab At Donald Trump
Daniels' recent statement comes after PETA sent out a letter asking her to appear in a commercial that will take a brutal jab at Trump.
According to TMZ, PETA, which stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, contacted Daniels about the new ad campaign criticizing horse racing.
A line from the mock-up of the PSA showed that she'll be taking a major swipe at Trump if she agrees to do it. The line is linked to her past sex confession, where she alleged that Trump didn't last up to two minutes during their sexual encounter.
"Nobody likes a two-minute ride. Turn your back on horse racing cruelty," read a tagline on the mock-up of the ad.
Calling on her to use her platform for a good cause, PETA decried the horror horses go through at the hands of humans, all for the sake of entertainment and business.
The Ex-Porn Star Said Donald Trump Is Not A 'Real Man'
Following her bombshell testimony, Daniels took to her social media page to subtly slam the former president for ranting about being gagged in his criminal trial.
At the time, Trump raged on social media over the hush money trial judge, Judge Juan Merchan, preventing him from replying to people telling "lies" about him.
He claimed the gag orders placed on him were "un-American" and should be taken off so he could defend himself. However, Judge Merchan stated that he never prevented Trump from defending himself, noting that the billionaire mogul can testify on the witness stand.
In an apparent shade at Trump, Daniels wrote on X: "Real men respond to testimony by being sworn in and taking the stand in court. Oh...wait. Nevermind."
Since then, Trump has refused to testify, citing various reasons, including that his past would be brought up if he did so.
