She Spoke About The Arrest Incident On Social Media

In her social media posts, Minaj spoke about how frustrated she was and claimed that the incident was sabotage. The rapper explained that the airport authorities mishandled her belongings and caused a big issue over less than five grams of marijuana, which is legal in the country.

On her X account, Minaj tweeted, "Now they said they found weed and that another group of [people] have to come here to weigh the pre-rolls. Keep in mind they took my bags without consent. My security has already advised them those pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yeah, & the pilot wants me to take my ig post down."

In a tweet, Minaj accused her former team of deliberately hindering her travel plans.

She said: "They try to make me book another jet every time. All [because] I fired [management] who I found out for years were adding on 30-50K on my jet & pocketing it. I fired a tour [manager] recently who was doing the same thing & mad he got the boot. Their goal is to make me late & to pocket 40k."

Minaj continued in another tweet: "It's to try to make me late so that they can write negative stories. Jealousy is a disease. You know the rest."

Nicki Minaj Previously Talked About Her Tour Being Sabotaged

In April, Minaj said her tour was being sabotaged during an online rant about her experiences in Montreal.

The rapper said, "Yesterday my flight scheduled for midnight shut their plane down @ 12:58 PM. Never in 15 years have I heard of anything like that. A 70K G4 and thought we were going to PAY THEM for that flight as well as whatever flight I'd have to get on next. They thought wrong."

Minaj shared that the schedule for her flight kept being postponed despite her already scheduled show for 9:30 pm in Canada. The "Anaconda" rapper further said the sabotage continued even after her arrival, with airport authorities thoroughly searching her items.

She noted, "They started searching through my personal purses. Usually, they take me to the car with my purses and check the bigger luggage. Nope. Not this time. They know I have a show, they know we're 20 mins away. They know we don't have a police escort. The sabotage be real but GOD IS REALER."
