Chris Hemsworth's Wife Slammed As 'Poorly Dressed' For His Walk Of Fame Event

Elsa Pataky, wife of Chris Hemsworth, was the center of a social media storm during the actor's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. 

After the event, which was put together to honor the "Thor" star, the spotlight unexpectedly shifted from him to his wife's outfit, sparking a flurry of mixed reactions online.

To celebrate his major milestone, the 40-year-old actor was accompanied by his wife Pataky and their three children, looking dapper in a sleek navy suit.

However, the joyous occasion was marred by a wave of criticism directed at Pataky's choice of attire. The actress, dressed in a white satin ensemble with black lace trim, quickly became the focus of online scrutiny. 

Many fans deemed her outfit "poor" for the prestigious event, likening it to sleepwear. "Why is Elsa so poorly dressed always?" one person wrote, echoing the sentiments of many others.

Another commented, "OMG what is she wearing? a nightie??" A third critic harshly remarked, "Was she rushed out of bed to come?"

The criticism did not stop there. "She needs a stylist for god sake!" one person exclaimed, while another agreed, "That was a rather poor choice of dress, if you can call it that, to wear to a public photo event."

However, amidst the negativity, some acknowledged Pataky's beauty. "Elsa is absolutely gorgeous, stunning really, always exuding a youthful glow," one supporter wrote. 

Despite this compliment, they too criticized her fashion sense, adding, "I think she has a particular taste in clothing, verging on tacky, that translates in poor style choices that don't highlight her beautiful body features."

While the actor's wife faced criticism for her outfit choice, the event itself was a glittering affair, featuring some of Hollywood's biggest names. 

Hemsworth's "Avengers" co-star Robert Downey Jr. was among the notable attendees, delivering a heartfelt and humorous tribute to the father-of-three. 

Downey Jr. shared a list of playful "roasts" from their Marvel colleagues, each describing Hemsworth in three words.

"First off, [Jeremy] Renner says 'absurdly annoyingly amazing.' [Mark] Ruffalo came in strong with 'Friend from work.' That's a callback, now I get it," the 59-year-old humorously stated. 

"Scarlett [Johansson] got to the heart of it with 'sensitive leading lady.' Captain America [Chris Evans] calls him 'second-best Chris,'" Downey Jr. added. 

Despite the jokes, Downey Jr. expressed genuine admiration for Hemsworth, describing him as "very elusive because of the pretty packaging" but possessing "a true-blue wit and a depth of soul." Per PEOPLE, He added:

"It has been my sincere pleasure to know you these many years. You keep us Hollywood folks on our toes because you're just a real dude.""

During the ceremony, Hemsworth took a moment to express heartfelt gratitude towards his wife, acknowledging her sacrifices and unwavering support over their 13-year marriage.

In a touching tribute, he honored the mother of his three children — India Rose and twins Sasha and Tristan — for putting aside her own acting career to support his.

"The fact [is] that nothing that I do, any of these moments, these special occasions and events, none of it is special without you by my side. I love you," Hemsworth stated emotionally. 

Amidst the Hollywood glitz, the couple continues to showcase the humor and love that bind them. One such occasion occurred when Hemsworth celebrated his 40th birthday, and his wife took to Instagram to poke fun at the milestone.

As reported by The Blast, the snap showed the star looking equal parts horrified and disappointed seeming over his favorite sports team or player missing a shot. Pataky humorously captioned the photo:

"That's exactly the face a made when I turned 40, my love. But don't worry, it's gonna be ok! I'll be here for you too hold your hand and give you all my beauty secrets., ?, even if you look better than ever. Happy birthday, @chrishemsworth!"

As the "Star Trek" star celebrated his 40th birthday, he also received a heartwarming surprise from someone very special in his life: his daughter, India Rose. 

The 12-year-old crafted a handmade birthday card filled with love for her dad. Alongside a simple yet heartfelt message wishing him a happy birthday, she wrote, "I love you more than anything, and I love more time's infinity."

Hemsworth, clearly moved by his daughter's gesture, shared images of the adorable card on social media, captioning it, "Maybe my favorite birthday card yet ❤️❤️❤️."
