Jesse Rutherford is reportedly upset by Billie Eilish's new song "L'Amour de Ma Vie," which insiders claim is a diss track about their brief relationship. The song features lyrics about Eilish lying about loving a former partner.

Despite their amicable split, sources say Rutherford feels betrayed, especially as Eilish has since revealed her attraction to women. The "Ocean Eyes" singer's fans speculate that another song, "Lunch," is a "lesbian anthem," reflecting her ongoing self-discovery.

According to the DailyMail, Rutherford is hurt by her new song "L'Amour de Ma Vie." The music, whose title means "Love of My Life" in French, is featured on Eilish's third studio album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft." It contains revealing lyrics where the 22-year-old admits to lying about loving a former partner.

While the Grammy-winning artist hasn't confirmed the track is about Rutherford, sources told the outlet that the 32-year-old feels "betrayed" by Eilish's recent acknowledgment of her attraction to women following their breakup.

"Billie stating on L'Amour de Ma Vie that her biggest lie was that she told Jesse he was the love of her life, in hindsight, is not the biggest lie at all," an insider noted. "It was not even close. Jesse doesn't believe that she suddenly started liking women when the relationship ended – it doesn't work like that."

"The song is a slap in the face. He feels deceived," the source added.

Eilish and Rutherford were first seen together in October 2022, but they broke up seven months later. At the time, a representative for Eilish stated, "We can confirm Billie and Jesse split amicably and remain good friends," denying that the breakup was due to cheating and confirming both were single.

Before dating the pop sensation, Rutherford had a six-year relationship with influencer Devon Lee Carlson, who was also friends with Eilish.

According to a source, "Jesse understands that Billie feels like he was using her to get back at Devon, but she is also failing to admit that she is messed up for going after Jesse when she was friends with his ex, Devon."

Additionally, those close to him think the "Ocean Eyes" singer getting closer to Carlson post-breakup was deliberate. "She knew that this would get to him. He is sure that Devon helped her on this track and got her approval for being so blatant that this was a straight-up diss track."

"Her fans have gone after him on social media and this is just not something that he wanted to deal with at this time in his life and career," the insider added.

Since their split, Eilish has been candid about her sexuality, revealing to Variety last year that she is "physically attracted" to women.

While Reflecting on the public's reaction, Eilish mentioned she thought it was "obvious" and expressed her discomfort with the concept of coming out.

She said, "I'm just like, why can't we just exist? I've been doing this for a long time and I just didn't talk about it… whoops. I saw all the articles and was like, 'Oh, I guess I came out today… OK, cool."

"But it's exciting to me because I guess people didn't know, so it's cool that they know. I'm nervous talking about it… but I am for the girls," Eilish added.

The "Happier Than Ever" singer also touches on her sexuality in "Lunch," the second track on her new album.

She explained to Rolling Stone that the song was pivotal in her self-discovery, saying, "That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real. I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl and then wrote the rest after."

Eilish added: "I've been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn't understand—until last year when I realized I wanted my face in a v-gina."

Fans have quickly labeled the provocative new song as a "lesbian anthem" and a major "win for the gays."
