Brad Pitt has been accused of using the long-standing legal battle between him and his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, for revenge.

A Jolie source claims that Pitt's push for the "Maleficent" actress to disclose her past non-disclosure agreements in their winery court case is a way to "punish her for leaving."

The actor's camp hit back on the claims, noting that it was Jolie's side that "introduced the NDA issue," going on to wonder why they're now "complaining" about it.

The estranged couple has been locked in a legal battle over their formerly joint-ran French winery, Château Miraval since Pitt accused her of betraying him by selling her $64 million stakes to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler in 2021.

A source close to the actress has now claimed that the "Fight Club" actor is using the court case to get back at her after a court ordered Jolie to produce eight years' worth of NDAs.

The source shared that Pitt "and his team know that these NDAs are never going to see the light of day at trial," adding that their whole antics "is all for the press."

"They also know that this will force Angelina to spend resources tracking all of this information down, which is just another way to drain her resources and punish her for leaving," the insider added, per People magazine.

According to the news outlet, Pitt's camp has slammed the claim that his intention is to "punish" Jolie, noting that it was the actress' team who introduced the NDA issue in court.

"The other side introduced the NDA issue into what is a straightforward business dispute, so it's ironic that they are now complaining about it," a Pitt source told People.

The source added,  "And they are the ones who were greatly enriched from violating the parties' agreement in selling the business."

The development stemmed from a previous court filing, in which Jolie claimed that she opted against selling her stakes in the vineyard to Pitt for $54 million because of a standard NDA clause in his proposed contract, accusing him of trying to "control" her with it following their divorce.

Pitt's lawyers then requested that Jolie disclose her NDAs, arguing that they are "highly relevant" to understand her reasons for not fulfilling her contractual commitments to Pitt when she sold her shares in the winery.

The case then spiraled into a recent ruling in the Los Angeles Superior Court, in which Judge Lia Martin called on the actress to "produce, within 60 calendar days of this Order, all non-privileged documents in her possession, custody or control that are responsive to" Pitt's requests in a previously filed action.

As their legal battle escalates, Jolie was accused of sabotaging Pitt's relationship with their kids by "encouraging" them to "avoid spending time" with the actor, per the Daily Mail.

A security guard, Tony Webb, who worked for the former couple, noted in a recent court filing that his contractors informed him that Jolie wanted her children to avoid Pitt when she had custody of them.

Webb alleged that Jolie fired him after two of his security guards sided with Pitt following their split and that her associate, Michael Vieira, wanted him to help dissuade the two security guards from testifying in their custody battle.

"During the call, Mr. Vieira told me that he had heard that two contractors who had provided personal security for Ms. Jolie through SRS Global might be testifying in the family court case," Webb noted. "Mr. Vieira then asked me to stop these two individuals from testifying."

"Mr. Vieira then told me that his call should serve as a reminder that those individuals had entered into non-disclosure agreements with Ms. Jolie and that I should remind them of that and tell them that if they testified in the family law case, Ms. Jolie would sue them," he added.

It comes after reports surfaced suggesting that Pitt wants no part in the legal back and forth any longer and is set to "move on" with his life and new girlfriend, Ines De Ramon.

According to People, a source revealed that Pitt is seemingly tired of the whole drama and wants to focus on his new relationship with Ramon and his work.

"The long-drawn drama with Angelina used to really get to him, especially the custody drama and abuse allegations," the source said.

"It's been very stressful for him to have to defend over and over again," the source added of Pitt, who shares six children with Jolie, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. "But since things don't seem to change, he's trying to move on with his life."
