Cardi B is showing the true power of her glorious nails in a new commercial for one of Reebok’s most popular line of shoes.
The “Invasion of Privacy” rapper is seen in Reebok’s newest spot for their classic Club C 85 Vintage sneakers, which she is proudly rocking in the advertisement.
In the video, Cardi is sitting under a hood dryer (not a pun) with curlers in her hair gossiping out a new relationship when the beauty shop notices the shoelaces on her shoe have become untied.
As the other ladies freak out, Cardi keeps her cool and lets her well0-manicured nails do the work as they slither down her legs and fix her kicks.
“Nailed it,” Cardi said with a deadpan expression.
Reebok spoke on the collab with Cardi, and said, “The film is a salute to Cardi’s own life experience, which saw her challenge expectations to become a self-made maven and incorporates boundary-pushing nail art that has become an iconic feature of her style.”
As for the shoes, Reebok describes vintage Club C’s as , “Take it down to pure essence with clean lines and a classic lineage. A Union Jack symbol along the side profile calls up heritage style. No excess, no riffraff. Made for icons.
The shoes are currently on sale for $75.
The Reebok spot definitely shows off Cardi’s wide-range of talents, but is only a warm up to the acting chops she will have to display on the set of her new movie, “Hustlers.”
Cardi plays a stripper named, Diamond, alongside J. Lo and has promised to bring the heat while getting influence from her early days as an exotic dancer.
