As Wallen was performing one of his hit songs, he walked over to the edge of the stage and asked the fan to hand over her sign. On the sign, there was an empty box, where Wallen could design a tattoo for the attendee. As he returned the poster to the fan, tears of happiness streamed down her face.

After the concert, she shared a video on TikTok: "Morgan Wallen drew my first tattoo!! This is a dream come true. Thank you to all the sweet souls we met who helped make this possible."

The 'Last Night' singer decided to stick with words instead of a drawing. "Love ya. So does God," he wrote before signing the bottom.

The fan went through with it, showing a photo of her new ink at the end of the clip.

Morgan Wallen Through The Years

Despite being one of the biggest names in the music industry, Wallen has had a controversial past.

In 2021, a video emerged of a Wallen, who was intoxicated at the time, using a racial slur. The incident sparked an immediate backlash, with radio stations removing his music, his booking agency dropping him, awards shows disqualifying him, and his record label suspending him.

After the controversy, the 'Last Night' singer said the incident showed him “just how much that people listen to me. I don’t think I realized that, at least not at that grand of a scale at the time. I [learned] how much my words matter.”

Nearly three years later, Wallen once again addressed the incident, claiming, “That person is definitely not the same person I am now.”

Additionally, the 'Whiskey Glasses' was arrested in 2020 for disorderly conduct. Earlier this year, he was placed behind bars for three counts of reckless endangerment after he threw a chair from the sixth floor of Eric Church's new bar.

After his 2024 arrest, he released a statement. "I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks," he said at the time. "I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility."

He added, "I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change."

As Wallen continues to sell out stadiums and secure multiple No. 1 hits, he says that the publicity and the fame have changed his everyday life.

“I don’t really go to the grocery store. I have to go through back doors to go to the doctor and all that kind of stuff,” he told Billboard. “I still try to hold on to as much [normalcy] as possible. I like driving, so I try to drive as much as I can by myself.”
