On her "misSPELLING" podcast, Tori Spelling shared an unconventional Mother's Day gift from her kids: a belly piercing. She proudly displayed her new piercings on Instagram.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband, Dean McDermott, recently defended her online after a troll criticized her for liking his post with his new girlfriend, Lily Calo.
Following their separation last June, Spelling filed for divorce in March, seeking sole custody of their children. McDermott countered, requesting joint custody and spousal support. Both are asking the other to cover attorneys' fees.
Tori Spelling Revealed Her Unusual Mother's Day Gift
Spelling revealed that her five children, Aaron, 17, Stella Doreen, 15, Hattie Margaret, 12, Fin Davey, 11, and Beau Dean, 7, celebrated the occasion by watching her get a belly piercing.
Following this, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" star posted a video on her Instagram Stories showcasing her new stomach jewelry.
During the podcast episode, Spelling told her friend Jessica Amer about her decision to get dermal piercings on her stomach. She expressed pride in her stomach, mentioning that she has been wearing "lots of crop tops lately."
"I've had five babies, and I'm really proud of my stomach," she said. "That's, you know, it's gone in and out five times, and it's good, and I feel like, you know, my thing back in the day, like full circle, was my belly. I always showed off my belly because that was one of my favorite parts of me. And now I do it again and people are like, stop dressing like a teenager."

During the episode, Spelling proudly revealed she got dermal piercings on Sunday, May 12, noting, "My kids know me so well."
She mentioned to her friend Amer that they typically get matching piercings on Mother's Day. Spelling then showed off her stomach, adorned with four small diamond studs, after cautioning that there might be some bruising.
Amer giggled and then laughed, prompting Spelling to say, "Oh my god, I'm scared of her reaction." Amer responded, "I mean, I like it if it was just one." Spelling jokingly replied, "I hate odd numbers; you know I like everything in pairs."
Fans React To The Actress' New Piercings
On Instagram, the actress' followers were shocked by her tummy jewelry.
One person said, "I like it, but maybe elsewhere because the location could get caught on pants/skirts/shorts.
Another commented, "I don't get it. What is the point...No no, and NOOO."
Several others liked the jewelry, commenting on how cute they looked on the actress' belly.
"I dig it! You are keeping it real! I need to take you to a heavy metal concert! LOL. Keep rocking, young lady," one person noted.
Another said, "Never seen one like that before! But I like it!"
Dean McDermott Defends Tori Spelling From Internet Troll
Days earlier, Spelling's ex-husband, Dean McDermott, defended her after an internet troll criticized her for liking an Instagram picture of McDermott and his new girlfriend, Lily Calo.
The 57-year-old actor went Instagram official with Calo in the photos, sharing two images from their date night at Magic Castle. McDermott looked dapper in a dark pinstripe suit and white button-up shirt, while Calo coordinated with him in a black pinstripe dress. One photo showed Calo affectionately kissing McDermott on the cheek. Shortly after he posted the images, Spelling expressed her support by liking the post.
When a troll commented on the post saying, "The fact Tori liked this is mind-boggling," McDermott quickly responded.
"It's because she is a highly evolved, compassionate, and loving person, which is more than I can say for the trolls commenting on this post,' he replied. He continued, 'Tori has a boyfriend. People get divorced and are better apart than together. That's life. I'll pray for happiness for all the haters."
Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott Both Want Spousal Support Amid Divorce Battle
Spelling and McDermott were married for 18 years before they announced their separation last June, and this past March, Spelling officially filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences."
McDermott's public defense of Spelling followed his response to her divorce filing, as he submitted his own legal document. According to court papers obtained by Page Six, the actor opposed Spelling's request for sole custody of their children, seeking joint physical and legal custody instead.
McDermott also requested spousal support for himself while petitioning the court to terminate Spelling's spousal support, aligning with her initial request. Both parties are also asking the other to cover their respective attorneys' fees.
