Aubrey O'Day is not buying Diddy's regretful stance following proof of his physical violence against his ex-girlfriend, Cassie.

The singer, best known as a former member of the girl group Danity Kane, has been vocal about her strained relationship with Diddy since his days as her mentor. Now, she is calling him out for changing his tune after previously denying Cassie's allegations.

O'Day addressed Diddy's lackluster apology on X, noting he failed to beg for Cassie's forgiveness despite the released footage of his brutal assault. Instead, the record producer was more inclined to play on the public's sentiments with his "I'm committed to be a better man" plea.

"Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did," O'Day stressed in her message. She reminded fans that the Hip-hop star had initially denied the abuse allegations, writing:

"He says he's 'disgusted [with] himself now, and he was disgusted [with] himself then'.. but apparently he wasn't disgusted enough [with] himself to not PIN this statement out calling her a liar & denying all of it.."

"Leave God and mercy out of this, they aren't present here, and you know it," the media personality argued, refusing to accept Diddy's apology. Her words received similar sentiments from fans, who bashed the latter as a "fraud."

One X user noted they had been waiting for O'Day's reaction, writing, "I knew you were coming in HOT!!!" Another supporter echoed, "I was waiting to see your comments on all this." Meanwhile, a third applauded her message to Diddy, chiming in:

"Yep! It is just a public relations effort. This was a last-ditch attempt for Diddy to save himself, but it has narcissism written all over it… since only someone completely self-absorbed could think a short Instagram apology is going to do anything in the eyes of the public."

"You stay on his neck, LOVE THIS, keep it coming because he needs to face his demons and take accountability for what he's done to Cassie," an X user urged O'Day, while another penned: "Exactly! He's a fraud and just sorry it got exposed."

O'Day's post also sparked fan conspiracy theories, with someone asking for Diddy's alleged supporters to be brought to justice. The individual wrote:

"What about all the people (men and women) who helped Diddy with this behavior and enabled him for so long? Are they going to be held accountable as well? When you read Cassie's Lawsuit, you understand that there was a whole system in place. You can't do this alone."

O'Day wasn't done with Diddy on her social media pages as she addressed their well-known rocky dynamic on her Instagram Story. She shared a fan's post about the issue, which read:

"I strongly believe that the reason Diddy never really liked @aubreyoday is because she never backed down from him. He couldn't just speak to her any type of way because she always stood up for herself."

"Aubrey stood on business way before many of us knew the reason why she was labeled the 'problem child.' Weak men HATE strong women," the fan concluded.

O'Day seemingly hinted there was evidence to back the individual's words by writing: "Well, there is [definitely] physical proof of all of this." It is unclear what she is referring to; however, Diddy was once captured vehemently confronting her on a TV show.

Last November, The Blast reported that O'Day had reacted to Cassie's scathing allegations against Diddy with an I-told-you-so attitude. She shared a screenshot of a news report of the lawsuit alongside the words, "Been Tryna tell y'all for years. Prayers up for this queen @cassie."

O'Day also shared a throwback clip from MTV's reality TV show "Making the Band 3," where she argued with Diddy over her role in Danity Kane. The situation escalated, with the record producer getting up from his seat aggressively while yelling.

He seemingly threatened O'Day by telling her, "Don't get it f-cking twisted. It gets dark and lonely," before storming off. However, the singer claimed worse happened that didn't make the show, writing:

"If you think what made the cut was as ugly as it got... you're wrong."

Following the release of the "gut-wrenching" video of him beating Cassie, The Blast shared that Diddy had updated his Instagram page with an apology video. In the clip, he repeatedly noted how sorry he was for his distasteful actions, saying:

"It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was f-cked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses."

"My behavior [in] that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I'm disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I'm disgusted now," Diddy lamented, noting that he had to go to therapy and rehab to fix his issues.

"[I] had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I'm committed to be a better man each and every day. And I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry," the record producer concluded.
