Diddy 'Quickly' Settled Cassie's Lawsuit To Hide Gruesome Assault Footage, Ex-CIA Agent Claims

A former CIA agent, Tracy Walder, has revealed why Sean "Diddy" Combs speedily settled the lawsuit filed by his ex-lover, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura.
Walder claimed that the record label owner did so because there was evidence proving he assaulted Cassie, which CNN has recently released.
Former CIA Agent Claims Diddy Settled Civil Lawsuit Due To The Assault Footage
Back in November 2023, Diddy garnered negative attention after his former partner Cassie sued him for rape, sex trafficking, and domestic violence, which she claimed happened during their time together.
However, within hours of the suit being filed, the duo settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money, sparking speculation as to why Diddy decided to follow such a path rather than clear his name in court.
Those speculations now seem to have been addressed by former special agent Walder, who claimed that the embattled music executive "settled so quickly" because there was footage of him assaulting the singer. She also claimed that the rapper "never expected the video to get out."
According to Walder, the statute of limitations has passed, so a felony assault charge cannot be filed against Diddy.
"Felony assaults in California have a statute of limitations of three years. Since this stemmed from a 2016 incident, she wouldn't be able to file assault or battery charges in Los Angeles," the law enforcement agent told People magazine.

The footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie was recently released by CNN, sparking outrage on social media.
In the video, which had no audio, Diddy could be seen running after Cassie while wearing a towel. Upon meeting her, he grabbed her by the neck and flung her to the floor.
He then violently kicked her body before turning around to grab the singer's possessions, which were just outside the elevator she had tried to escape through. While all this was happening, Cassie lay motionless on the floor of the hotel hallway.
After that, Diddy violently kicked Cassie again and then dragged her back down the hallway by the hoodie of her sweatshirt. He was later seen throwing a vase at Cassie while sitting on a chair in what appears to be the hotel room they were lodged in.
The shocking video reportedly matches one assault incident Cassie described in her lawsuit, where she claimed that an "extremely intoxicated" Diddy "punched" her in the face, "grabbed at her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing the glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape."
Cassie's Lawyer Confirms The Singer Is The Woman In The 'Gut-wrenching' Video
After the video came to light, a lawyer for Cassie, Douglas H. Wigdor, confirmed that his client was the one being assaulted.
"The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs," he said in a statement. "Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."
While it is unclear if other charges, apart from felony charges, can still be filed against Diddy, Welder believes there is still a possibility.
The former CIA agent also hinted at why CNN was able to obtain the surveillance footage, claiming that it was given to the news outlet by Cassie's attorney or the hotel where she was lodged with Diddy.
Other Victims Have Come Forward To Accuse Diddy
Several other victims have come out to make more scathing allegations against Diddy.
One woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal claimed that the rapper drugged and sexually assaulted her while she was still a college student. She claimed that the incident happened in 1991 and that she was also a victim of revenge porn created by the music executive.
Another woman, Liza Gardner, alleged that she was coerced into having sex with Diddy and was assaulted by an associate of his.
Diddy has since denied any act of wrongdoing, releasing a statement late last year in which he claimed that his accusers were looking for a "quick payday."
After several civil suits were filed against him, Diddy is now reportedly the subject of a federal investigation following federal raids on his properties in March.
The Music Producer's Homes Were Raided
As lawsuits against the rapper continued to pile up, two of his homes were raided by Homeland Security.
The operation was carried out as a part of the ongoing sex trafficking investigation against him. The music producers' homes in the highbrow Holmby Hills neighborhood of LA and Miami were searched by federal agents.
Fox 11 published video footage of the search, showing federal agents walking about the properties and carrying out items.
Several people were also recorded being arrested and questioned outside the properties. Diddy's lawyer has since condemned the raids, branding them a "witch hunt."
