Rapper Juice WRLD Sues Over House Rental Gone Wrong

Juice WRLD is trying to get back over $50,000 he says a prospective landlord is refusing to return after he ended up not leasing a home from them.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Juice WRLD claims he was interested in a renting a home in Tarzana but he had specific requirements.
The lawsuit states that it was made clear the home would be occupied by musicians and thus it "needed to conform to certain specifications and dimensions."
He claims he was "assured that the space, layout, and capacity of the House was fit for the particular purpose" for which it was needed and so he agreed to pay $160,000 in advance to hold the house.
After paying the deposit, Juice claims the two sides started to work out a lease agreement and he flew to Los Angeles to inspect the home.

But upon inspection, the lawsuit states the home had been "misrepresented" and so he made it clear he had no intention to move forward with the lease. He claims his would-be landlords understood his position and "assured" him there would not be a problem and "full amount of the advanced deposit would be returned."
When it came time to get his money back, Juice WRLD claims the landlords held onto $52,000 and claimed for the first time that they suffered damages by holding the house and paying a commission to the leasing agent.

Juice WRLD's attorneys say they served the homeowners with a demand letter to get their money back but they did not respond.
The rapper is suing to get his money back, plus additional damages.
