Melania Trump reportedly intends to remain in her son Barron Trump's life to help guide him even after high school. A source has revealed that the former first lady will remain involved in his life as Barron "is her world."

This comes after Barron was scheduled to make his political debut after being shortlisted among Florida Republican Party nominees to inaugurate his father, Donald Trump, as the party's official flagbearer. Melania's office, however, revealed that he "declined" the role because of "prior commitments."

Barron is set to graduate from Oxbridge Academy on Friday, and a close source to the former first lady has revealed that she'll not be letting go of her firm grip on his future.

"Melania will keep her hand on Barron's future just as much going forward as she has throughout his early and current school years," a source told People Magazine. "He is her world. She is proud of him, and she is the primary decision maker on Barron and his future."

Reports of Melania keeping her hands on her son's future come after it was revealed that Barron will begin to get some space to be his own man as he graduates high school.

Barron, who recently turned 18, continues to evade the spotlight, thanks to his mother's protective nature around him. With the possibility of a looming political debut, he's reportedly keen to create his platform and publicly share what he stands for.

"While he was still a minor, she zealously protected him, and we knew very little about the details of his daily life," a source told the Daily Mail.

"I think he's allowed to make more decisions for himself now. He can invite anyone to dinner he wishes. He's slowly becoming more public."

The high school senior was set to make his political debut after he was shortlisted among a 41-man delegate to represent Florida at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July.

He was chosen alongside his half-siblings, Donald Jr, Eric, and Tiffany, to serve as delegates for the state of Florida, where Trump now resides and votes.

However, reports from Melania's office afterward surfaced, noting that Barron wouldn't be taking the stand as a delegate because of "prior commitments."

A spokeswoman for the former first lady said in a statement that "while Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments."

"He's pretty young, I will say. He's 17," the former president stated. "But if they can do that, I'm all for it."

Barron Trump's 'Deep' Voice Was Recently Revealed In A Video Clip

The voice of the youngest son of former President Trump was recently heard for the first time, leaving fans shocked at the tone.

The 18-year-old high schooler is known for his reserved and private nature and had never been heard speaking in public, but his voice surprised many after a trending video captured him speaking.

Dressed in a suit at a formal event in a ballroom at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, Barron confidently shook hands with a guest, saying, "Impressed with this?... That was, like, the best... ever."

As the camera panned away from him, he could be heard muttering something else, but his voice was inaudible at that point.

During a recent discussion about Trump's ongoing New York hush money trial on CNN, Melania's former aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, alleged that her marriage to the billionaire politician is just business.

According to HuffPost, Wolkoff claimed that she believed the union, of which Barron is the only child, was "transactional" in nature.

"I think people have to remember who Melania really is. There is no enigma, there is no mysteriousness," the former senior advisor to Melania shared.

She continued, "Melania really is who she has portrayed herself to be. There is a strength within her that is unlike any other individual I have ever met. She does not care what others feel about her, nor does she feel she had to ever explain anything to the American people."

Wolkoff then noted that Melania and Trump's marriage is a "transactional marriage in so many ways," as they both secured a lot out of it.

She explained that by marrying Trump, Melania got to "be the Vogue cover model that she's always wanted to be," as Trump "was legitimized as trying to get away from that whole playboy mentality that everyone wanted to characterize him as."
