In the autopsy report, a Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed Garrison died from a gunshot wound to the head. While this settled his manner of death as suicide, the document also revealed a contributing factor in his demise.

The postmortem noted Garrison's death was influenced by ethanol intoxication, also known as alcohol poisoning. The 25-year-old's blood work revealed his alcohol level was .307% based on his iliac blood analysis and .370% based on his vitreous analysis.

These numbers were significantly higher than the legal limit in the U.S., which is .08%, while anything above .40% is considered potentially fatal per PEOPLE. Garrison also had traces of caffeine in his system at the time of his death.
