The legal drama between Jeezy and Jeannie Mai continues with their young daughter in the middle of their contentious separation.
The "Soul Survivor" rapper recently filed a motion to dismiss or modify the estranged couple's mediated agreement. In the legal documents obtained by The Blast, Jeezy doubled down on Mai using their daughter against him.
Jeezy Wants To 'Vacate' Or 'Modify' The Duo's Agreement
Jeezy, who has been vocal about his inability to spend quality time with his daughter, implored the Court to "vacate, or in the alternative, modify the Mediated Agreement on Temporary issues between the estranged couple.
This agreement stipulated a schedule for child custody and parenting time; however, the aggrieved rapper claimed Mai had failed to honor her part of the deal. He explained the pair's daughter had lived with them until his estranged wife "suddenly vacated the marital residence."
Mai allegedly took their minor daughter with her when she left on or about October 11, 2023. Jeezy stressed that he has been a significant part of their child's life since her birth; however, his love for the little girl is being used against him.
The Rapper Accused Jeannie Mai Of 'Weaponizing' His Love For Their Daughter
Jeezy, per the documents, claimed Mai is using their daughter as a bargaining chip in their divorce battle. He accused her of forcefully coercing him into accepting her demands, stating:
"Unfortunately, the Respondent is weaponizing Petitioner's love for the parties' minor child against him in hope that he will concede to Respondent's unrealistic and erratic demands."
This isn't the first time Jeezy has accused Mai of manipulation, as he previously slammed her for heading a smear campaign against him. His words came as a response to her domestic violence allegations.
Jeezy Claps Back At Mai's Physical Violence Claims
Last month, The Blast reported that Jeezy had responded to Mai's physical abuse claims in a scathing statement. He claimed he was not only disappointed but hurt by her decision to accuse him of heinous crimes.
According to the rapper, Mai's allegations were "not only false but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved." He described her actions as a smear campaign, stating:
"This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous. It's disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play."
Jeezy also drew attention to the estranged couple's ongoing custody battle, noting that his primary concern remains their daughter.
He stressed that he would continue to fight for court-mandated joint custody and assured fans the truth would be revealed through the proper legal channels.
Inside The 'How Do I Look' Star's Domestic Violence Allegations
As stated, Jeezy's statement was his response to Mai's domestic violence allegations. She revealed the alleged abuse in court documents, claiming her estranged husband attacked her on multiple occasions.
Mai labeled Jeezy a repeat offender, highlighting some of his physical and verbal abuse in the documents. One alleged incident occurred in April 2022 when the pair were at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in San Francisco, California.
The "How Do I Look" alum claimed Jeezy choked her from behind as she was heading up the stairs before pushing her down the steps.
The rapper also verbally attacked her with insults like "f-cking b-tch" while repeatedly expressing his desire for separation by saying, "I can do so much better than you."
Mai claimed the hotel's security intervened after she told them she didn't feel safe being around Jeezy. This alleged domestic violence incident came a few months after she birthed their daughter, Monaco.
Mai Requested To See Jeezy's Finances
Before dropping her bombshell allegations, The Blast previously reported that Mai had requested to see her estranged husband's finances amid their divorce battle. She asked for these documents in a bid to stop the enforcement of their prenuptial agreement.
According to court documents, the TV personality claimed the duo's prenup had not gone through standard procedures as it was rushed because of their marriage. The pair reportedly signed the agreement five days before saying their vows.
"Given the compressed timeframe, it was inherently challenging, if not impossible, for either party to engage in comprehensive due diligence," the documents alleged, adding:
"The result is an inability to fully comprehend, scrutinize, and verify the accuracy of the disclosed financial information, and casting doubt on the agreement's integrity."
The filing also stressed that Mai "has significant reservations regarding [Jeezy's] financial disclosures, necessitating a thorough investigation" into his finances.
