The 20-year-old star played Sandler's son in the 2010 comedy, "Grown Ups."

It seems other stars from the movie are just finding out, as David Spade commented on Sandler's IG, and was clearly in disbelief over the loss.

As we reported, Boyce died in his sleep Saturday after suffering a seizure.

His family released a statement, revealing the young star was dealing with an unknown illness.

"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," the Disney star's family said.

They added, "The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."

He is also starring in Disney's "Descendants 3" as Carlos, Cruella De Vil's son.

"Descendants" is scheduled to air in November, and Boyce had been doing press leading up to the premiere.

Boyce had not spoken of his health complications, and friends and fans alike are all mourning together as they discover the star was battling an unknown illness.
