Posting to her Instagram to mark the start of October in 2021, the 28-year-old gymnast showed off her stunning good looks as she channeled a girly vibe, posing from an outdoor pool and seeing fans raving about her in the comments. Earning herself over 110,000 likes as she posed thigh-deep in the water and looked like a total doll, McKayla checked boxes for her toned figure and model-like features, plus her stylish choice of swimwear. She even sent fans a heart emoji in her caption.

Discussing gut health, the former acne sufferer told fans that she used to be a raw vegan, stating: "I was so obsessed with eating “clean” and “perfect” but I wasn’t feeling good, or digesting well at all, and my skin paid the price. I just kept ignoring the red flags that this diet was not working for me."

"I got lost in dogmatic thinking, and this idea of perfect health. I thought I needed to suffer and do something crazy and extreme to be successfully healthy. (That way of thinking clearly came from gymnastics lol)," she added. Also known for having turned her back on veganism is singer Miley Cyrus.
