Dove Cameron With No Top Told Inappropriate For 'Kids'

Dove Cameron tends not to receive backlash to her Instagram posts, however it looks like some of her fans weren't too keen on these topless photos. In April 2021, the former Disney star showed off her stunning figure in a series of snapshots, posing with her bare chest just about covered by her hands and wearing only low-slung pants. While some were delighted by the 28-year-old going sensual as she stripped down, others were raising eyebrows, even telling her that there are "kids" on Instagram. Dove does not appear to have addressed the comments.

Scroll for the shots. Opening her gallery in profile as she posed protecting her modesty with her hands and arms, Dove showed off her jaw-dropping figure with only hints of jeans visible. Posing up close and with sunlight bouncing off parts of her torso, the Liv and Maddie alum sent out feminine confidence as she cupped her chest and turned her head to the lens, with the shot also checking boxes for funky hairstyle.

Rocking jet-black locks with red tints as she wore her hair styled into a slightly messy long bob, Dove wowed fans with her chiseled features and model-like jawline, also wearing dramatic red-winged eyeliner that brought out her eyes.

Throwing back her head and closing her eyes in a swipe right, Dove showed off a gorgeous crystal-embellished dress as she went strapless, here highlighting her slender arms as she showed off tons of glowing cheek highlighter. It was back to topless in the third slide, though, as Dove flaunted some sideboob and gazed to the side. "Never felt more like myself than i have this year . thanks for holding the space," a caption read.

While loving comments, including rose emoji, came in, some comments weren't so flattering.

"I remember the sweet girl who was not a baddie. I loved you before this but your face and body is yours to control I’m sorry I just liked you when you are more sweet," one user replied. Slamming the level of nudity, another said: "Why do you show off your body like that that should be saved for your husband or wife!"

"Why do you post this? Remember that there are kids on this app," a third added. Despite the backlash, the post proved immensely popular overall, earning Cameron over 3 million fan likes.

Dove may strip down, but she also opens up. Speaking to Byrdiein 2023, she revealed having had times ""when I was incredibly suicidal. And I think that needs to be destigmatized.”

“My father [died by] suicide. I’ve spoken about that a lot,” she added. “And I always think about how much shame and stigma there is around suicide. And if we could be more open about suicide and mental health, I think there would be so many people [who would say], ‘Hey, I feel like there’s no other option. Can you show me that there are?’”
