Rihanna broke down in tears when she met up with her childhood physical education teacher, Roddy Estwick, at the 2019 Cricket World Cup this week.
Estwick is an assistant coach for the West Indies Cricket team and during an emotional reunion on Monday, RiRi can be seen embracing him for a long time, in a video posted by the Jamaica Observer.
"I came here to see the match and was cheering West Indies to a victory," Rihanna told Barbados Today.
She added, "But I also wanted to see Mr. Estwick. He made a lasting impact on my life and he really offered great advice to me and many others when we were at school at Combermere. I just wanted to let everyone know what he meant to me in my development and what he did for us back at school in Barbados."
Estwick also noted that although the world knows her as Rihanna, he still remembers her as little Robyn Fenty.
"Everybody calls her Rihanna but I know her as Robyn Fenty."

In addition to reuniting with her old mentor, she also took time to meet with the West Indies Cricket Team and another member of Caribbean royalty, Chris Gayle.
Gayle is a Jamaican cricket player who is considered the best batsman ever and currently holds several world records.

Rihanna also had a photo-op with Gayle's daughter, Kris-Allyna Gayle, and made the child break out into a smile when they posed for a picture.

Sadly, the West Indies team lost to Sri Lanka by 23 runs ... but when Rihanna shows up, EVERYBODY wins.
