Tyrese Gibson's ex-wife, Norma Mitchell, doubles her efforts to stop his online badgering with a domestic violence restraining order.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Mitchell implored the court to intervene and stop her ex-husband from addressing their differences on social media.

In her filing, Norma explained that Tyrese had repeatedly criticized her on social media over their legal disputes.
She cited five dates, "April 30, May 1, May 2, May 6, and May 7," stressing that her daughter, friends, family, and millions of others were privy to sensitive and false information.
She asked the court to order Tyrese to stop his persistent harassment, not contact her, and stay away from her home, workplace, and vehicle. The same applied to the duo's daughter, whom she extended the protection to.
That wasn't all; Norma also accused Tyrese of causing her emotional harm with the "public cyber harassment campaign" on his Instagram page. She claimed he posted six defamatory messages about her to his 20.4 million followers, with his most recent post on May 7.
Tyrese Gibson's Ex-wife Says He Is Not Allowed To Make Derogatory Remarks
Aside from bashing her on Instagram, Norma noted that Tyrese also sent her a harassing message on the co-parenting app Our Family Wizard. These actions, per the mother, went against the operative child's orders.
The mandate allegedly prohibits Tyrese from making derogatory remarks about Norma, expressing anger towards her, or discussing anything related to custody in front of their daughter. She argued that the actor broke this rule because Shayla followed him on Instagram.
Norma claimed that she and the 16-year-old were "mortified" by Tyrese's actions and feared what he would do next. "Please order Tyrese to stop this and to take down his abusive posts and our private information," the mother's plea read.
Norma Wants Tyrese To Pay For Her Therapy
As stated, Norma claimed Tyrese's social media content had affected her emotionally. On that note, she requested for him to pay her counseling bills. She wanted $22,280, which covered 104 weeks of therapy sessions, and another $12,480 for other treatments.
She implored the court to stop him from harassing her on the Our Family Wizard app and refrain from communicating about her and their child custody issues publicly. Norma's demands didn't end there, as she also wanted Tyrese to delete his Google Drive file.
The "Fast & Furious" actor shared a link to the file on his Instagram bio, leading his followers to a copy of the Motion he filed against Norma. She first highlighted the existence of the file in her defamation lawsuit.
Norma Slammed Her Ex-husband In A Defamation Lawsuit
According to court documents obtained byThe Blast, Norma vehemently denied her ex-husband's claims. She accused him of defamation, false light, and the public disclosure of private facts.
Norma stressed that Tyrese was using his Instagram account to "cyber harass, defame, and dox" her in front of his 20.4 million followers. She noted that he didn't need to publicly air their differences after filing a motion against her.
"Gibson is livid purportedly because Mitchell cannot afford to contribute as much as he can towards their daughter's private high school," the document alleged, referencing the alleged $25,000 debt Tyrese accused Norma of owing.
She claimed the actor slammed her with "a cruel barrage of derogatory and defamatory posts."
These contents allegedly contained false accusations about Norma, including allegations of "blackmail, extortion, death threats, tax evasion, forgery, bank fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering."
Tyrese Gibson Was Accused Of Failing To Protect Their Daughter's Privacy
In her defamation lawsuit, Norma implied that Tyrese's actions affected their daughter's privacy. "Gibson doxxed Mitchell and their daughter — a minor — by posting an unredacted copy of the Motion on Instagram," the documents explained, adding:
"The 176-page Motion contains Mitchell's private and confidential information, including their daughter's full name, the name of her high school, birthdate, and address."
Norma stressed that because Tyrese's lies had spread like wildfire, she and her daughter "reluctantly found themselves in the public's eye under vexatious circumstances."
