Filming is officially underway for the newest installment of “Bill & Ted,” and along with the two stars, another very important part of the movie was revealed — the time machine phone booth.
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter were seen Tuesday in New Orleans while filming scenes for “Bill & Ted Face the Music.”
The stars could be seen emerging from their infamous phone booth, however it’s unclear what era they arrive in.
A freshly clean shaven Reeves has cleaned Bill up with grey slacks and a jacket, along with a collared shirt, while Winter is keeping his character legit while rocking a Wyld Stallyns t-shirt.
The third movie in the franchise will also feature the return of historical figures, including Sacagawea and Gandhi.
Winter announced the news back in June when the crew traveled to New Orleans to begin production.
“Just got to location to shoot @BillandTed3. Making movies is a miraculous gig, but it’s also stressful & fairly nuts,” he wrote to fans. He also wrote, “We’re family, and that makes this all the more special.”
The movie, which went through several script changes, will catch up with William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan as “the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe,” according to a press release on the film.
Perhaps the best news … 69-year-old William Sadler is set to reprise his role as the Grim Reaper.
