According to sources connected to the former convict, Blanchard profoundly resonates with the track from Swift's "Tortured Poets Department" album. She allegedly suspects the emotional song might be about post-prison life.

Blanchard allegedly saw several similarities between the song's lyrics and herself. Swift's "Fresh Out The Slammer" track follows the story of a woman getting out of prison and taking off with her lover.

In the media personality's case, she moved in with her now-estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, following her release from prison last December. The similarities Blanchard noticed didn't end there, as part of the song's lyrics read: "camera flashes, welcome bashes."

Sources told TMZ that Blanchard relates to the line because paparazzi have followed her since her release from prison. Her family also celebrated her freedom with a welcome home bash.

Fans Support Blanchard's Theory

Blanchard isn't alone in suspecting she inspired Swift's song, as fans echoed similar sentiments on social media platforms like X. Many declared the singer-songwriter wrote the anthem for the former convict, with someone writing:

"A song called fresh out of the slammer? Who was recently released from prison and is a big swiftie? Miss Gypsy Rose."

"Guys fresh out the slammer is actually a tribute to Gypsy Rose Blanchard!" another supporter echoed, while a third chimed, "Fresh out the slammer was written from Gypsy Rose Blanchard's perspective, and you can't tell me otherwise."

Despite the viral speculations about Blanchard being Swift's muse, sources noted that there had been no communication between them.

Last December, The Blast reported that Blanchard had credited Swift's music for helping through her time in prison. She relied heavily on the singer's songs and saw a type of companionship between them.

Blanchard noted that the pair had experienced their own eras, which made it easier for her to connect to Swift's music. The entertainer's songs allegedly helped her cope with the abuse and trauma she endured from her late mother.

The media personality's love for Swift was so deep that she used the money her father sent in prison to buy the 34-year-old's albums. Through that, she acquired every album Swift has released, including her re-releases.

The Blast reported that Blanchard's dreams of meeting Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game were squashed by her parole officer. In December, the media personality bought tickets to see her idol at the match; however, she was booted out of Missouri.

According to a report, Blanchard's parole officer was notified that she and her family members must leave the state amid the buzz generated by her release.

It was unclear if her fame contributed to the order; however, sources noted it was likely because her presence posed "security risks" to the Kansas City area.

Since Blanchard was kicked out of Missouri, she couldn't attend the game and, therefore, lost the opportunity of seeing Swift in person. She was reportedly "bummed" by the outcome, but her love for the singer remains.

Swift isn't the only person occupying Blanchard's mind, as The Blast recently reported about the ex-convict's inspiration message to fans. She shared a then-and-now post on TikTok, reflecting on her survival as a Munchausen by proxy victim.

The post compared a snap of 18-year-old Blanchard from 2018 and her present self at 32. The throwback image showed her posing in a wheelchair, wearing polka-dot pajama pants, a blue top, and a pink hoodie.

Although she smiled brightly for the camera, it could not be compared to her present self as she is no longer being abused by her late mother. The now image captured Blanchard flaunting her new nose job and looking radiant in a sleeveless black top.

Blanchard chose the perfect soundtrack to accompany her then-and-now post, using Alessia Cara's hit self-love anthem "Scars to Your Beautiful." She also inspired fans to stay strong, writing: "Stay positive, there is always hope [heart emoji]."
