Jimmy Fallon has trolled Donald Trump after Stormy Daniels revealed an intimate detail about his marriage to Melania Trump.
Daniels testified in the former president's hush money trial and claimed that he told her that he didn't share the same room with his wife. The former adult film star is expected to return to the stand on Thursday for more questioning.
Jimmy Fallon Makes Reference To Donald Trump's Alleged One-Night Stand With Stormy Daniels
On Wednesday's episode of "The Tonight Show," Fallon took a shot at Trump with a joke about his marriage.
It comes after Daniels, whom the former president allegedly had an affair with, testified during his hush money trial. The ex-adult star claimed that Trump had told her that he was not sharing a room with Melania during their sexual encounter to make her feel less guilty about sleeping with him.
"Everyone's talking about Stormy's testimony, especially when she mentioned that Donald and Melania sleep in separate bedrooms," Fallon told the audience during the show.
The comedian then made a witty joke, drawing a parallel between Trump and Daniels' alleged "one-night stand" and the "nightstands" in the billionaire mogul's room and Melania's room since he allegedly said he and his wife don't sleep in the same room.
Fallon added, "You can tell the difference between the two because her room has two nightstands, and his room has one nightstand."
Stormy Daniels' Testimony About Her Alleged Affair With Donald Trump
As part of Daniels' testimony, she recalled her one-night stand with the billionaire mogul, saying that Trump did not wear a condom, and they had sex in the "missionary position."
She also alleged that she passed out at some point during the meet-up which was after a charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Apart from discussing her sexual encounter with the former president, Daniels revealed other details unheard of before.
The former adult star shared that Trump said she reminded him of his daughter, Ivanka, during a dinner date they had before their sexual encounter.
"You remind me of my daughter because she is smart, blond, and beautiful, and people underestimate her as well," she recalled on the stand about her conversation with the billionaire mogul.
The Former Adult Film Star Will Return To The Stand
Daniels is expected to return to the stand on Thursday to continue testifying in the hush money trial.
The defense will attempt to discredit the adult film actor's sensational testimony regarding her purported sexual encounter with Trump and the money she received to maintain silence.
Trump stands accused of funneling $130,000 to Daniels through his lawyer, Michael Cohen, and subsequently doctoring his business records to conceal the reimbursement.
The payment, made in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election, resulted in federal prosecutors leveling 34 charges of falsifying records against him, alleging it constituted election interference.
Trump has repeatedly denied having sexual relations with Daniels and entered a plea of not guilty to the charges.
He has also portrayed himself as a victim of a politically biased justice system, alleging it is all to prevent him from possibly returning to the White House.
The Ex-President Has Violated His Gag Order Amid His Hush Money Trial
Despite having a gag order restraining him from talking about the individuals involved in the trial, Trump has violated it on a number of occasions and was slammed with fines to deter him.
Trump was first fined $9000 due to nine instances of violating his gag order for statements he made on his Truth Social media platform and his presidential campaign website. Each violation carried a $1000 punishment, the maximum the judge could impose according to New York Law.
Subsequently, he was again found in contempt of the gag order for one instance out of the four claimed by the prosecution. Like before, he was fined $1000 for the violation, making it a total of $10,000 he was ordered to pay. In both instances of the fine, the former president was also instructed to take down the offending posts.
Donald Trump Requests 'Liberty' Or 'Death' Over Judge Merchan's Jail Threat
After receiving the latest fine, the former president was warned that he could face imprisonment if he persisted in violating his gag order.
Predictably, Trump reacted angrily to the warning and took to his social media platform to say that his right to free speech was being infringed upon.
"It is a really bad feeling to have your Constitutional Right to Free Speech, such a big part of life in our Country, so unfairly taken from you, especially when all of the sleazebags, lowlifes, and grifters that you oppose are allowed to say absolutely anything that they want," Trump wrote on his social media platform.
He added: "It is hard to sit back and listen to lies and false statements be made against you knowing that if you respond, even in the most modest fashion, you are told by a Corrupt and Highly Conflicted Judge that you will be PUT IN PRISON, maybe for a long period of time."
The billionaire mogul then took a quote from American Founding Father Patrick Henry, writing, "GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH!"
