Five Actors Are Reportedly In The Running To Play Elvis In The Upcoming Biopic

Five actors are in the running to play the lead in Baz Lurhmann's upcoming biopic about Elvis, and everyone's got an opinion on who should be king in the movie.
Harry Styles, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Austin Butler and Aaron-Taylor Johnson are reportedly all in the running to play Presley, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tom Hanks will play Col. Tom Parker, Presley's longtime manager.

All five men are busy with their own projects/lives.
Styles is an actor and singer/songwriter, while Butler was on The Shannara Chronicles and will be seen in the new Tarantino flick Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
After appearing in Baby Driver Elgort will next be seen in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story.
Taylor-Johnson was in Avengers: Age of Ultron, while Teller landed a spot in the upcoming Top Gun sequel.

The Hollywood Reporter says all five actors have tested for the part of Elvis in the Warner Brothers vehicle.
The entertainment site adds that Presley's relationship with Parker is highlighted in the film, along with Presley's meteoric rise as a new sound in rock.
We should know fairly soon which one will get to don those glittery white jumpsuits.
