Metro Boomin is getting EVERYONE involved in his beef with Drake and in a way fans are LOVING!
The popular producer announced his contest on Sunday and then upped the ante on Monday, and people from all walks of life are getting in on the action. TikTok is now filled with hilarious "BBL Drizzy" videos that can't be missed!
Metro Boomin's 'BBL Drizzy' Contest Is Taking Over TikTok!
Amid Drake and Kendrick Lamar beefing, Metro Boomin found himself in a battle with Drake. He retaliated with a catchy beat called "BBL Drizzy" and recruited the internet to join in on the fun.
On Sunday, Metro tweeted, "Best verse over this gets a free beat just upload your song and hashtag #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway." And then on Sunday, he upped the ante by tweeting, "Update to the contest! Winner gets $10k and a beat runner-up gets a beat as well."
Submissions started pouring in on not only X, formerly known as Twitter, but also TikTok. And even some brands are getting involved in the fun.
Metro's beat is constructed from a sped-up sample of comedian King Willonius's track. With the addition of skittering drum beats, the track is soaring. The online community fully embraced it, with a diverse range of individuals, from teenagers to emerging rappers to brands, jumping head-first into the Drake controversy.
(For anyone trying to catch up, Drizzy is Drake's nickname, and BBL, which stands for Brazilian Butt Lift, refers to rumors of Drake having cosmetic surgery.)
Many TikTokers Are Having Fun With 'BBL Drizzy'
Whether they're in it for the contest prizes or just having fun, TikTokers are certainly bringing it with "BBL Drizzy."
Sister Mary Blaze, a Catholic nun, shared a video that went viral in just a day with more than 5.9 million views. If you've landed on #NunTok, you're probably aware of the fact that she's well-known for her fun-loving dance videos.
Her "BBL Drizzy" video received more than 11,000 hilarious and supportive comments.
"Not the church taking on Drake," one person wrote. Another said, "What a wild time to be alive."
Another viewer shared, "Metro Boomin needs to be in some type of leadership government position bc this was a diabolical strategy." One other person hilariously wrote, "When Drake was saying God's plan I don’t think he foresaw this would be the outcome."
Another TikToker Added His Verse And Funny Skit To 'BBL Drizzy'!
A TikTok content creator who goes by @nemraps shared his verse to the tune and created a funny skit. The video captioned, "Drake visits his plastic surgeon," went viral in just a day with more than 6.3 million views.
"Aubrey, welcome back, oh I see you brought the fam. I didn't know you had this many kids. It's really great to meet the Grahams," he rapped. "Now how is the BBL looking? I'm glad that you didn't go down to Brazil."
Thousands of comments quickly flooded the comment section.
"Metro an evil mastermind. Got errrrybody dissin Drake," one person wrote. Another said, "Metro made this a group project."
Drake Is 'Getting Cooked In All Kind Of Cultural Collaborations'
Another viral video shows TikToker @kayxs15 doing an "Indian classic dance" to "BBL Drizzy." She captioned her video, "I can't rap but I gotta get my Drake lashings in somehow."
With more than 2 million views, the theme of the comment section seems to be jokes.
"Drake is getting wrecked universally," one person wrote. Another said, "This man getting cooked in all kind of cultural collaborations."
Another viewer pointed out, "'BBL Drizzy" is bringing the ENTIRE world together," and one other said, "There is NO WAY that Drake is getting dissed by dance. This is diabolical. I love it, do it again."

It's not just content creators enjoying a good time with this contest trend. Some brands are also hilariously getting involved.
Duolingo English Test shared a video of the Duolingo mascot twerking to the song. It's safe to say with more than 3.7 million views so far in just a day and thousands of funny thoughts filling the comment section, viewers are loving it!
"DUOLINGO JOINING IN ON THE DRAKE COOKING?!" one person wrote in the comment section. Another added, "Duolingo has picked a side."
