Taylor Swift fans wasted no time making their voices heard after the songstress unloaded on Scooter Braun and Halsey is among the celebs who have her back.

A Chage.org petition launched on Sunday and it garnered nearly 30,000 signatures in just a couple of hours (including one allegedly from Katy Perry). The petition is trying to get Swift to re-record the six albums Braun now controls, saying, "Will you let the work of a self-made woman, which worth of 12 years get discredited, manipulated and twisted for personal gains or will you sign this petition and get new vocals from Swift, and her long work repaid?"

Iggy Azalea responded to a tweet on Sunday and tried to explain the situation from an artist's point of view, writing, "I think from what I can see; it’s more about the fact they didn’t even give her the opportunity to at least bid on her own masters; when she’s made it known she wanted to purchase. I can totally understand where she’s coming from."

She then added, "And this is why I’m so happy to own my master for this new album, they really do ppl crazy dirty on ownership of their intellectual property in the biz."

But it was Halsey who was first to offer up a lengthy statement taking Swift's side in things.

"Taylor Swift is a huge reason why I always insisted to write my own music," she wrote. "I believed if she did it (in a way that made my teeth ache like cold water and my heart swell and my eyes leak) than [sic] I should too ... She deserves to own the painstaking labor of her heart."

Halsey added that it "turns my guts that no matter how much power or success a woman has in this life, you are still susceptible to someone coming along and making you feel powerless out of spite."

Swift's fans have predictably directed their ire at Braun, with tweets like, "Sell her her masters back if not out of human decency (because I doubt you have any) then do it to save your own reputation buddy because I can promise you, your career will only go downhill from here. We’ll make sure of it. #WeStandByTaylor"

In Swift's lengthy Tumblr post about Braun's acquisition of Big Machine Label Group (which owns her first six albums), she described the move her "worst case scenario."

Swift went on to explain, "When I left my masters in Scott’s hands, I made peace with the fact that eventually he would sell them. Never in my worst nightmares did I imagine the buyer would be Scooter. Any time Scott Borchetta has heard the words 'Scooter Braun' escape my lips, it was when I was either crying or trying not to. He knew what he was doing; they both did. Controlling a woman who didn’t want to be associated with them. In perpetuity. That means forever."
