Dog the Bounty Hunter joined hundreds of mourners Saturday afternoon in Hawaii and addressed the crowd as they honored Beth Chapman.
Dog Chapman arrived, alongside his family to Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki as fans gathered for the traditional Hawaiian ceremonies.
He wore a white opened shirt, jeans and white sunglasses as he made his way to the memorial site.
As we reported, the ceremony included a traditional Hawaiian Oli chant, which was performed by a Hawaiian man who walked amongst the crowd.
Dog also addressed the crowd and once again shared some of his fond memories of his late wife, and also explained to the crowd how important Hawaii was to Beth.
After the ceremony and speech, the crowd assembled for a paddle out to lay Hawaiian flowers in the ocean in Beth’s honor.
Members of the Chapman family could be seen loading up into a boat and paddling out into the water, but it appears Dog may have skipped out on the ocean activity.
As we reported, Dog came outside of the family’s home in Honolulu earlier this week and spoke about Beth’s last moments.
The reality star showed gratitude for the millions of condolences sent by fans and loved one, and gloated a little that Beth is “Trending #1 on Twitter.”
He also warned fans from donating to unauthorized funds for Beth, as Dog says, “we don’t need any money at all,” urging people to send flowers instead of cash.
Dog said Beth “knew this day would come,” but admitted her death came quicker than the family was expecting.
Choked up by tears, the star described his late wife’s clothes and makeup that remains exactly where she had left it.
Not missing a moment for a little laugh, Dog also described how Beth was “somewhat of a control person,” and made sure to leave him notes around the house.
“I loved her so much,” he said, adding he strongly feels “Beth isn’t dead, she’s sleeping.”
Hours before Beth’s memorial, Dog once again warned fans about purchasing counterfeit merchandise from those trying to take advantage of Beth’s death.
