Guns N' Roses Drummer Steven Adler Hospitalized After Possible Suicide Attempt

The troubled former drummer of Guns N' Roses, Steven Adler, has been hospitalized after allegedly stabbing himself with a knife.
According to PEOPLE, LAPD officers responded to a call on Thursday around 6:30 PM for a "possible suicide attempt" at Adler's home in Studio City.
Officials also confirm they responded to a possible stabbing. Upon arrival, 54-year-old Adler was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Adler wasn't one of the original members of Guns N' Roses, which was formed by
Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin, but he joined soon after and joined the band during their golden years in the late 80's.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of Guns N' Roses alongside ex-bandmates, Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan and Slash.
Axl did not attend the ceremony, as he has protested the HOF for years.
Guns N' Roses is currently on their "Not in This Lifetime" world tour, which began in 2016 and is scheduled to continue until November 2019.
The lineup consists of Axl, Slash, McKagan and Dizzy Reed, and the group brought in Frank Ferrer on drums.
Adler actually was brought on to play a few guest shows with the band, but was not included in the rest of the tour.
Adler was booted from GNR in 1990 over his drug use and many stints in rehab, and has been publicly struggled.
He's faced multiple arrests for drug-related offenses over the years, and in 2008 appeared on In 2008, Adler appeared on the second season of "Celebrity Rehab" with Dr. Drew.
