Britney Spears' BF Paul Richard Soliz's Wife Files For Divorce After 8 Years Of Marriage

Pop star Britney Spears is making headlines again weeks after a judge signed off on her divorce from actor Sam Asghari.

The 42-year-old pop star is still dealing with the fallout from an alleged fight with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz. The incident at the Chateau Marmont hotel on May 1 caused the pop star to injure her foot, although it's not clear how.

Although Paul Richard Soliz has been making headlines for his relationship with Britney Spears, the pop star's ex-housekeeper is now making headlines due to another woman in his life. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, his wife Nicole Mancilla filed for divorce on Wednesday, October 2, after 8 years of marriage.

According to the court documents, she listed June 29, 2023, as the date of separation and listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The two share four children together. Although she is open to visitation, she is seeking both legal and physical custody of all four children. She is also requesting the court award her spousal support while at the same time asking that the court deny him spousal support.

The couple had originally tied the knot in March 2015, while the "Crossroads" actress was still under her court-ordered conservatorship from February 2008 to November 2021.

Paul Richard Soliz and Britney Spears have had a rollercoaster relationship playing out in the spotlight. In May, the couple seemingly had a fight at the Chateau Marmont that led the singer to suffer an injury to her foot. A few days after the incident, she told her followers that her foot had been broken.

On Friday, May 10, about nine days after she first injured her foot, Britney took to Instagram to tell her followers that her foot was broken while recalling other lower body injuries that she sustained over the years as a dancer and a performer.

"Walking on a broken foot … if i go fast it goes numb !!! I got surgery on my left leg 🦵🏻 three times … twice for my knee and once for my foot 🦶🏻. They always said it can heal on its own but theres a huge chance it can snap and break again 😬 !!!" Britney wrote in the caption. "Well I always did the surgeries and it was more painful afterwards so I’m being stubborn this time .. I’m gonna see if my body knows how to heal itself 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!! Less than a week before saying her foot was broken, Britney told her followers that she might need surgery due to her foot injury.

"I honestly wish my life was as wild as it has been portrayed !! Either way, some s--- actually has happened to my foot and I might have to get surgery ... fingers crossed hopefully not but I feel that I was harassed and gaslit and tricked to go on the street when my car was supposed to be there !!" Britney wrote in the caption.

"I was in my pajamas and yes, I had been crying because hurt my foot !! No breakdown !!! I'm a grown a-- woman who is actually very naive in most situations !!!" she continued. "I am simply embarrassed they got me in my d--- pajamas !!!"

"I don't feel loved ... I feel mistreated !!!" she added. "With that said, I'm going to treat myself this week !!!"

Just after the incident at Chateau Marmont took place, Britney put the blame on her mother, Lynne Spears, for the incident, even though the two seemed to be on good terms for her 42nd birthday party last December.

The "Toxic" singer posted a video of her swollen foot and can be heard saying, “Okay guys, so you know, I really twisted my ankle last night, like an idiot."

“It’s so bad. F---ing idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room at the Chateau and I fell and embarrassed myself. And, uh, that’s it,” she continued. “Paramedics came to my door illegally, of course, cause this huge scene, which was so unnecessary when all I needed was ice.” She went on to say, "It is actually pretty bad, but s--- happens."

In the caption of the video, Britney wrote, "I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it !!!"

The pop star then seemingly addressed her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, adding, "Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!!"

On May 1, Britney Spears and her boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz were staying at the Chateau Marmont, according to multiple sources. It is unclear how Britney injured her foot, but photographs taken that night show her walking around outside of the hotel with a blanket wrapped around her shoulders and a pillow clutched to her chest.

"Just to let people know ... the news is fake !!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday !!!" Britney wrote in another Instagram post.

"Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie ??? Goddesses out there, I'm reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too !!! I need a new toothbrush right now PS ...I need an espresso !!" she continued.

"PSS ...Not sure why I feel the need to share this ... guess I'm just a girl and I'm on my period [...] I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally," she added. "They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I'm moving to Boston !!! Peace."

Even though Sam Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023 after 14 months of marriage, Sam still “feels terrible” for the “heartbreaking” incident that took place at the Chateau Marmont on May 1.

“Sam will always have a soft spot for Britney and will always be protective over her,” a source told Us Weekly, adding, “Sam is a helper and was there for her in her hardest times. He hopes she is OK.”

The insider divulged that the former couple "don't communicate anymore," but did go on to say that Sam finds the situation "definitely worrisome" for his ex.

"Sam has been down this road with Britney before and knows how she is,” the source continued, going on to say that the former personal trainer “feels terrible if she is not surrounded by positive people in her life.”

The insider added that Sam “will always wish [Spears] the best and would be there for her if she needed him.”
