George Santos has awakened his former drag queen character.
The disgraced congressman reintroduced his classic act in a fresh social media video, appearing eager to greet viewers for a fee during a club appearance.
George Santos Has No Problem Wearing Drag Again
Santos seems to have resurrected a career path less than six months after he was kicked out of Congress. According to a clip posted to TikTok, the politician brought back his drag queen character, Kitara, for fans' pleasure.
Donning a brunette wig, an eye-catching red lipstick, and a matching red fur outfit, he excitedly began:
"Hey, club Condo. It's your favorite — Kitara. After 18 years in the closet, George Santos pulled me back out…whatever. Anyway, I hear you're a bunch of little freaks out there and you love to dance all night like it's nobody's business."
Turning up the volume of his voice, Santos continued:
"You know what? You gotta elevate it, gotta make it more risky, gotta make it more fun. Where's the zhush? I have an advice for you: how about put some wigs on, get some boas, and go have real fun. Let's see who whips your hair faster."
After expressing that they have to "stop being boring," he claimed, "Dave essentially thinks you're boring cause he wants you to be more risque." Santos wrapped up by blowing a kiss at the camera, then adding, "I hope y'all enjoy it."
Social Media Users Have A Field Day At Santos' Expense
As expected, the update got many people quipping about how bad things had gotten for the 35-year-old to return to his drag queen ways.
"Oh he's MC Hammer broke," one person commented, while another emphasized, "Rent is DUE," and a third observed, "Kitara got that HARD front wig."
A fourth viewer noted, "gotta pay those bills," as a fifth similarly stated, "Oh rent really was due on the first huh," and a sixth claimed, "He's Bruno in Vegas broke."
Meanwhile, this TikTok user lengthily pointed out, "Some of yall are saying it's for money but I disagree. He slayed the eye makeup + outfit combo in a way that looks like genuine effort for art and self expression for him. It's fab tbh. I love it for him."
Ozempic Allegedly Aided Santos' Weight Loss Journey
Santos' drag rebirth comes eight months after The Blast reported that the former Republican credited the Ozempic for aiding him in a final attempt to shed some pounds.
His admission about using the controversial weight loss medication allegedly came during a birthday bash for Park Magazine publisher Chris Pape.
One source who attended the event, claimed that they had heard Santos disclosing, "I've lost 92 pounds using Ozempic over the past eight months."
They also noted that Santos, who is the first Republican to be expelled from office, acknowledged his pharmacist partner's concerns regarding the medication.
Nonetheless, Santos reportedly remained steadfast, proudly revealing that he had shed "nearly 100 pounds" with the drug's support.
The Politician Showed Disinterest In Enjoying The Nonmember Privileges Of His Party
Regarding his expulsion, it was previously detailed by The Blast that The House of Representatives resolution passed with a notable 311-114 tally, with 105 Republicans voting in favor.
After the resolution's passage, Santos confessed, "It's over," during an interview and expressed his belief that the House had established a "new dangerous precedent for themselves."
When it came to remaining and utilizing non-member privileges, he shared his disinterest, bluntly saying, "Why would I want to stay here? To hell with this place."
When pressed further on his expectations, he disclosed, "I had no skin in the game." With that, the legally challenged Santos declared his freedom from having to answer questions as an unofficial non-member of Congress.
Federal Agencies Slammed George Santos With Charges Last Year
Before his dismissal, Santos faced several charges brought against him by the Federal Bureau of Investigation [FBI] and the Justice Department.
As it turned out, public integrity prosecutors from both New York and Washington agencies were investigating allegations of false statements in his campaign finance filings.
While the specifics of the federal charges filed in New York's eastern district were sealed at the time of The Blast's coverage, other reports indicated that Santos was expected to appear in court as of May 10, 2023.
During his brief tenure in office, Santos was accused of engaging in corrupt practices, including violating campaign finance laws, and orchestrating a credit card fraud scheme. He was also accused of providing false information about his education and employment history.
