Anne Hathaway may not know much about boy bands, but when it comes to pop queens, she knows exactly whose music to listen to.

The actress is currently promoting her movie, 'The Idea Of You,' in which she portrays a 40-year-old mom who, with limited knowledge of boy bands aside from what her teenage daughter tells her, falls in love with a 24-year-old lead singer of a male vocal group.

Like her character in the 2024 romantic comedy, Hathaway says she knows little about boy bands; however, she does love bopping to some of the biggest pop queen hits.

She added, "I did one school run one day where I dropped him off at school. I wasn't driving, but I was hungover, and that was enough for me. I didn't love that one."

"When I'm at a stage in my life where there is enough space for me to have a hangover, I'll start drinking again, but that won't be until my kid is out of the house," she told Modern Luxury a few years ago.
