Gypsy Rose Blanchard is head over heels for her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, and she wants the world to know it.
The "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup" star recently raved about her rekindled relationship with Urker — a romance they proudly debuted with a steamy PDA session. Now, the pair are taking the next step in their relationship just weeks after Blanchard filed for divorce from Ryan Anderson.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Says Ex-Fiancé Will Relocate For Their Relationship
Blanchard made a solo red carpet appearance at Lifetime's For Your Consideration event in Los Angeles, looking stunning in a black shirt underneath a red blazer and matching shorts. Like the passionate color she rocked, she had love on her mind.
"Unfortunately, tonight's not date night. He lives in Dallas, and I live in Louisiana," she said about her new beau's absence before sharing that the long distance will no longer hinder their blossoming relationship.
"He's actually going to be moving to Louisiana to be closer to me," Blanchard excitedly chimed. She continued raving about their rekindled romance, telling ET:
"I think with our history, we've always had a very close connection. Having that foundation has been essential to our reconnection, and we're just hopeful for what our future has in store."
Blanchard Wants To 'Move Forward' With Her Life
Although Blanchard's primary focus was her new man, Urker, she did acknowledge the end of her chapter with her estranged husband. She didn't address Anderson by name but referenced their ongoing divorce, saying:
"You know, I know that I'm going through a difficult time right now, and so I just really am doing the best I can with moving forward with my life."
As for what the future holds for her rekindled relationship, Blanchard implied that she and Urker are endgame. However, having a solid bond didn't mean she wanted to rush down the aisle anytime soon.
"I've always said Ken was my soulmate. But I don't want to move too fast because, you know, I want to pace myself," the former convict explained, adding: "I don't want to put expectations and make things too heavy."
The Media Personality Is Loving The Newest Chapter In Her Life
Still, on her relationship with Urker, Blanchard noted, "We're just basically enjoying our time together and, you know, hopeful for what the future has." Part of their future involves her upcoming eight-part docu-series for Lifetime, which premieres in June.
On that note, Blanchard claimed fans will see her most transparent self on the show. She explained that she kept it all on the table, saying, "I put my whole life for viewers to see who I am as an individual, my true self."
As for who her most authentic self is, the media personality noted that she is "a woman that is feeling very empowered and confident in who she is."
Seemingly referencing her romance with Urker, she continued: "This is definitely going to be a new chapter in my life, and I'm exploring it to the fullest."
The 32-Year-Old Was Spotted Kissing Her Ex-Fiancé
Blanchard's update about her relationship with Urker comes at the heels of The Blast's report about the pair's steamy PDA session. The TV personality broke the news herself, sharing pictures of them kissing alongside the statement:
"After reconnecting earlier this month, we realized that our love for each other is undeniable, and life is too short to not take a chance."
The duo's reconciliation came weeks after they denied romance speculations despite giving off couple vibes. They were spotted holding hands on a grocery run, getting matching tattoos, and attending the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival with Blanchard's family.
Inside Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Ken Urker's Relationship
The rekindled couple became connected while the former convict was serving time for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Urker became interested in her after watching the 2017 HBO documentary "Mommy Dead & Dearest."
The duo hit things off and eventually got engaged in 2019; however, Urker reportedly pulled the plug on their trip down the aisle. Blanchard went on to have a relationship with her estranged husband, Anderson, and they got married while she was still behind bars.
But their marriage came crashing down just three months after Blanchard was released from prison in January 2024. Amid her separation from Anderson, she reconnected with Urker as friends before rekindling their now-blossoming romance.
