Per the lawsuit, on September 13, 2022, Katherine Adelia Bourke approached a 4-way stop intersection at Torrey Pines Drive and Twain Avenue in Vegas. Ms. Bourke obeyed the law and came to a complete stop. After waiting her turn, Katherine proceeded to drive through the intersection with the right of way, the docs state.

However, at the same time that Katherine began to drive, Dezjah Berry, an employee for Mr. Mayweather's, was traveling westbound on Twain Avenue and did not stop at the stop sign placed at the intersection of Torrey Pines Drive and Twain Avenue, the lawsuit claims.

"Driving through the intersection without stopping, [Dezjah Berry] collided into the right side of Katherine’s vehicle in a T-bone fashion," the documents state.

This is not the first time the former professional boxer has been sued. Earlier this year, The Blast reported on a lawsuit over an alleged assault involving Mayweather's security team.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the previous lawsuit came nearly two years after Floyd Mayweather's bodyguard was being under investigation for battery for the same incident. Floyd Mayweather was then sued over the damage allegedly inflicted by his bodyguard.

Per The Blast's previous report, "the victim claimed the 2022 incident occurred when the Mayweather Money Team entered the Yard House restaurant near Crypto.com arena (which is formerly known as Staples Center) in L.A., which resulted in a large crowd gathering around them, causing a commotion."

The individual goes on to claim he was "using his cell phone camera [to begin] recording the Mayweather Money Team" and that is when the professional boxer caught sight of the man recording the video. Floyd Mayweather and/or his security team then alerted one of the bodyguards.

A member of Mayweather's team approached the alleged victim "negligently, carelessly, intentionally, maliciously and/or physically touched, struck and/or hit [the victim] by striking him and causing him to fall to the ground," per the documents.

The bodyguard then brought the man to the ground "in an attempt to confiscate his cell phone, causing further injuries and damages."

The victim claims he "was placed in great fear for his life, health and safety."

In 2010, allegations surfaced regarding an incident at The Palms Casino in Las Vegas, where a man accused the boxer's security team of assaulting him.

The man approached Floyd Mayweather in the valet parking area with the intention of taking a photo and talking about boxing. However, Mayweather reportedly took offense and signaled disapproval to his bodyguards.

The bodyguards intervened and allegedly struck the man in the face, leading to him falling and hitting his head on the pavement. Mayweather and his promotional company faced accusations including assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and employee negligence.
