Haley Pullos is finally facing the music following her DUI case from April 2023.
The actress is said to have surrendered herself to serve a 90-day sentence in Pasadena City Jail after pleading no contest to one of the charges against her.
Haley Pullos To Serve 90-Days In Jail
Pullos was incarcerated on Monday in connection with the charges stemming from the hit-and-run incident — driving under the influence with a .08 blood alcohol content, resulting in bodily injury.
The accident was followed by a wrong-way crash on a Los Angeles freeway, which was where she caused bodily injury and property damage. According to her attorney, Mark Daniel Melnick, his client is scheduled to be sentenced on July 29.
Alongside her 90-day jail term, Pullos is required to complete five years of probation and perform 200 hours of community service.
She is also expected to compensate Courteney Wilder, the other driver involved in the crash, with $8,260 in restitution, as Melnick informed PEOPLE. In his statement to the outlet, the legal expert shared:
"Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety."
Pullos Was Caught With Drug-Infused Edibles & Alcohol
At the time of the incident, officers discovered edibles and mini-bottles of tequila in Pullos' car, noting evident signs of intoxication.
They claimed that the then-24-year-old's speech was slurred and her eyes glassy, with the released photos of the crash depicting the severity of the incident.
The seriousness of the accident resulted in one of the other drivers being rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The "General Hospital" star then pleaded not guilty to two DUI charges and another count of hit-and-run following the accident.
Courteney Wilder Sued The Soap Opera Star For Damages
Pullos faced additional legal repercussions as the aforementioned Wilder announced intentions to sue her for the harm and damages she caused. Per The Blast, an Oldsmobile driven by a 27-year-old woman was involved in a collision with Pullos.
Further along the road, Pullos collided with Wilder, who alleged that the Hollywood figure drove the wrong way on the off-ramp. This action left him with little to no time to react upon seeing her headlights approaching.
He asserted to have sustained lasting injuries, and his car was totaled, leading to his lawsuit for damages. As you can already guess, the discovery of alcohol and edibles in Pullos' 2019 Ford complicated the situation even more.
What Happened In The Aftermath Of The 25-Year-Old's' Accident?
The daytime soap performer preemptively addressed the drama shortly after it occurred, stating that she needed to take a break. She cited a car accident as the reason for her hiatus, emphasizing the need for proper recovery.
However, she omitted crucial details, failing to disclose that she was the cause of the accident and that it was far from a minor incident.
Despite her attempts to minimize the severity of the accident, The Blast disclosed that she found herself trapped in her car. Thus, she required assistance from firefighters, who moved her from the vehicle into an ambulance.
Unfortunately, she made some unpleasant remarks during the ordeal. When a firefighter attempted to evaluate her injuries, she reportedly struck him and exclaimed, "This is a $400 f-cking shirt!"
Hospital staff also had to contend with Pullos' "aggressive" behavior, as she "fought" against the medical team. Eventually, due to her violent conduct, she was sedated. She was arrested at the hospital once she was medically cleared.
Haley Pullos Ignored Social Media Concerns About Her Well-Being
Even though Pullos opted to remain silent about the unfortunate incident on her social media pages, it did not stop concerned followers from flooding her comments, seeking clarity on the accuracy of the reports and her well-being.
In fact, once the news surfaced, they took to one of her older 2023 posts which showed her in a forest, seemingly on a meditative journey, as she relaxed in a hammock with a notebook and pen.
Under the post captioned "Call me when u get lost," a follower inquired, "Are you okay? I heard you got into a car accident ??"
The social media users' questions went unanswered as they got nothing from the native Californians.
Later in May, Pullos was spotted at a rehab facility in Malibu, where she seemed to be checking in, accompanied by her father. The luxury resort reportedly costs $2,600 a week.
